Gas Saver - Is this true?
I was browsing the internet the other day and came across something that said you could save gas by converting your car to run on water and gas - saving over 40% on fuel costs.
Check out this link - anyone have any idea if this is legitimate? http://www.runyourcarwithwater.com/?hop=abletech |

Re: Gas Saver - Is this true?
Mythbusters did one on this, the listed system did not work. When they tried bottled Hydrogen it kinda worked but was less than safe for the engine.

Re: Gas Saver - Is this true?
I think the last car to run on water was a Stanley Steamer.Somewhere around 1918.
Ed F. The last car I had that burned water was my wifes 1992 Cougar 3.8 with the perverbial blown head gasket.Looked like a WWII destroyer setting down a smoke screen. |
Re: Gas Saver - Is this true?
The Tornado worked in some cars. It was a propellor looking metal insert for the air inlet tube. I believe we picked up some 1-2 miles per on the highway...In an Impala. Did not work in Envoy 6 cylinder...
