Harry Martinson
 

Long time NHRA and IHRA top sportsman racer Harry Martinson, lost his four year battle with cancer April 28 2008. He will be missed by his family, friends, and his racing family. Harrys dreams of racing this year were cut short by this unforgiving disease. Harry was sick for four years, but never complained. He only wanted to talk racing 24/7. R.I.P.

Harry was the most giving and generous man I ever met. He treated me and many others like family. I would have never been able to race at the level I did without Harry. As hard as it is to say goodbye, I have great peace knowing he is now in a much better place. Godspeed Harry.

I just learned of this Thursday evening, verry sad news to say the least. Harry was a one of a kind person and would do any thing to help any one.
