1.40 under

Re: AHFS One more Time
-1.40 under at sea level tracks only or corrected to sea level at altitude tracks or both?
|
Re: AHFS One more Time
I thought this year it was any run under -1.15 'flagged' your combo---------any run -1.40 or better is ATUOMATIC Hp on Monday.

Re: AHFS One more Time
Runs at corrected or factored tracks do not count towards the AHFS.

Also, the search engine onthe NHRa web seems to have improved. If you type in AHFS, there are 3 pages of AHFS articles going back to 2005 if you are intersted in the history. |
Re: AHFS One more Time
Supposedly,
-1.40 at sea level and -1.40 corrected to sea level at altitude tracks. |
Re: AHFS One more Time
This is the MAJOR ISSUE with AHFS---not even the drivers are in agreement on how it actually works!!!
Hopefully the Sportsman Council can corrected this flawed system so more and more combos don't end up scrapped!!! |
Re: AHFS One more Time
The way it was explained to me, 1.15 under triggers an automatic review, except at factored tracks, and that applies at Division races this year as well as National events. And 1.4 under, anywhere except factored tracks, at any time is an automatic adjustment. At least, that's what I was told the last time I saw a change, and asked for a clarification.

That is correct. And it's been that way for years. |
