Paul Adams, the Thunderbolt owner, has exactly 4 runs on the car when he arrived at Indy and the
first 2 were warm up checking the brakes,etc. passes. I think Tony will have his hands full when Paul
gets 20 more runs on the car. Oh, Tony was running 148+ mph and Paul ran 149.5 on one run.
It will be fun when Indy rolls around. I hope to see 6 or 8 cars in SS/B. Dallas Kelly should have his
car ready by then,also.

this is going to be fun. I'm sure Tony has a bit more, but so does Paul and a few other up and coming Fords. Drag racing at it's finest.... Stick cars to boot.

Are there any points awarded when a racer sets a record in NHRA? They use to give 5 for records in IHRA but I'm corious about the NHRA side of things.

No, nhra stoped giving points for setting class records when guys Like don mcelroy would set 2 class records at a wcs in the late 70's.....
