We are on our way there to the points race. We are in Louisville, KY now about 2 hours away doing a little business at an equipment auction. It is a gorgeous day here, bright and shiny. We should be there before dark tonight. Will post more then.

Yes but , It is even better to be able to use a trip to the races to do business too so you can write it off....That is how you have to make it work.....

Well, we got here about 5:30 after taking 30 minutes to get thru Crawfordsville. After only 4 hours of sleep last night (and we didn't even buy anything at the auction), Larry said he wanted to go straight to bed. But you know how it is when you first get to the race: you have to see everyone that you haven't seen since last year. So I have bacon cooking and we are having bacon and eggs for supper, since we had to see everyone. Went down to see Marlene and Darwin Hardy and had one of Marlene's slushees. They are headed home in the morning. After testing today, they have metal in the oil, so home they go. Sam Hamod also said his engine did not sound right, so he is headed home. We didn't get teched tonight, but they start at 7 in the morning and we don't run til 9, so we have plenty of time in the morning.

This is the last race for the Jegs Allstars. Larry is # 7 and could still win, if he won the race and none of the 1st 6 showed up! But, oh well-- we are out of luck. Tommy Mattingly is winning and he is here as is Greg Hill and Ben Wenzel who are only 2 points behind Tommy. Also saw Keith Lynch, so better luck next year.

I don't know if they started test n tune on time, but they were still running after 8 tonight.

It's been a long day, so more tomorrow.

Hi Ya'll You sure were right about traffic around Crawsfordsville. We are up at the Red Roof and Janice is watching "Lost".We went to dinner at the Olive Garden and the place was empty. We got a tip from our waiter there about a good mexican resturant thats close to the track. If the weather is bad Saturday night we can go there. What should I bring to have wth coffee tomorrow morning?

Larry-- I'm sure there are many of us out in cyberspace who miss your reports and hope that you'll be back very soon . Even though I don't know you personally I've been told that you're not an axe murderer (or any other kind of felon) and yet you're banned from this site . It must have been Patsy who committed this terrible crime as no Stocker guy would ever ................well let me tell you in three words what I really think about all this ---- "It sucks bigtime" . I'm sure I'm not alone waiting for you and Patsy to return .Hope I don't get booted for defending you but if I do ---well what do the French say -- "Sa Le Ve" -- (my apology to the French as I'm sure I've killed their language).

Well Jack, since Larry has not returned my email and has stated on the Super Stock Stock forum, these are his words.

let me give you the reason he was banned. I do not make it a point to embarrass members about why they were banned. Since your post suggest he was banned with out cause let me fill you in. The classified section of Class Racer has simple rules, he failed to follow them for the second time. This was not his first offense, he knows the rules, but he interprets them to fit his needs. Members can not bring their thread to the top in the classified section unless a question is being asked. Now Jack, how hard is that to follow. If a member needs to update there thread, just click on the edit button in the lower right, simple right?

Larry feels he is above others that follow the rules. It may not make a difference to you, but we are trying to make the classifieds fair for all. How fair is it when a member puts their thread to the top to get more exposer, while others follow the rule. Mind you, the classifieds are free. If members can not follow the rules when using a free service, they need not use our service.

He said he was banned from even viewing Class Racer, this is not true. The only thing he can not do is post. He also said the thread might have been removed, as you can see it was not.

He call us "No class racer", you tell me who is the one with no class. The classifieds are FREE ! and he is upset with us for breaking the rules.

Larry could have simple emailed Class Racer telling us it was a mistake and this issue would have e never come up.

And Jack, we do not ban members for disagreeing with us.

Kenny -- 1) My post never suggested he was banned without cause --I knew he did something -the question is "how big" .
2)He should follow the rules - I agree .
3)I'm not sure he thinks he's above the rules - -are you ?
4) Is he banned from posting forever ?
5) I agree -- name calling is uncalled for
6 )Can he still E-mail you and fix this ?
7) There really are many of us that want this disagreement to be put behind us and move on to racing . And good reporting for all of us to enjoy....... Maybe a nice "Mea Cuppa" is in order from Larry .

PS - Glad to hear you're OK with members not agreeing with management .

Alright, your not suggesting there was no cause. The rule is not to bring the thread to the top, its not a question of big or small.

His actions prove to me he does not think he needs to follow the rules.

Like I said, this is not the first time, he knows the rules.

He is banned for 7 days, this is a automatic ban for members breaking the classified section rules.

If he would have emailed Class Racer telling us it was a mistake this would have never happened.

Obviously he is upset with us or he would have not made the remark about Class Racer. I think I am being fair and not asking to much from our members to simple follow the rules.

I guess this is what happens when you get something for free, you expect more.
