I'm back to the Strange gold pads, but I've used Hawk HB100J.480 in the past. I believe you just need to drill the center hole a touch bigger.

They are softer than the gold pad, but not sure exactly where they fall on the spectrum of available pads.

Hawk #HB100 J.480 DR97 compound is the one you need and want great stopping power, no brake fade. Just have to drill out the center mounting hole for the larger bolt Strange uses.

The Hawk DR97 compound is one choice , Wilwood Poly matrix E compound is also a good choice .
Above 160 mph both will stop a 2400# car well ,but pad life is fairly short .
When I started running near 170 with my Vette which weighs 2400 # I went to the Strange gold metallic pads . Stopping much better at short tracks and pad life is double.
I should say , I dont use my engine as a Jake Brake , I shut off and neutral at all but a handful of short tracks.
