1966 Dallas Nationals stk/ top stk winner
 

Anyone know who won top stk or stock at this race ?
Cann't find it right now, but Stahl did win Spring, U.S. nationals and Word Finals.

IF he did win Dallas would be the only racer to win 4 nationals in one yr.

There was not an NHRA national event in Dallas in 1966. There were only four "national" events:
Winternationals at Pomona
Springnationals at Thunder Valley, Bristol TN
US Nationals at Indy
World Finals at Tulsa OK

They list Stahl's 3 wins that year but don't cover a Dallas nationals.


I looked there since as you may know I am looking for Top and Junior Stock class results from back then, for example this is a great link but rare info!

Bill Stiles says they won 4 in 66, but he wasnt sure it was in Dallas.
Didnt go to the Winternts, and won the other 3.
I'm wondering what other National he is thing about !
Now says he looked it up and it was 3 nationals wins, didnt have the Dallas race yet

I don't think Dallas joined the NHRA tour until about 1968/69......
