2020 nhra.tv
I just noticed this for the first time today:
"New for 2020 is extended coverage at select events, with streaming coverage now beginning Thursday featuring all of the day’s Sportsman action while the famed U.S. Nationals will now boast six days of coverage, beginning with Wednesday’s Sportsman racing right through Monday’s final eliminations and the crowning of race champions at the year’s biggest event." (from NHRA.com) If I remember correctly NHRA sends us emails with a code for a 25% discount. I have not received one yet and I asked support@nhra.tv is there was still a discount. They said yes and NHRA sent me a code.. |
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
I just renewed mine (25%) for 2020 with discount code NK5HDT. Not sure if everyone's is the same. I got mine after sending an email to NHRA.

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
What was the price before/after the discount? I logged in to renew and tried to apply the discount and it gave me a "discount already applied" but the price was still$129.99...ouch
|
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Probably have to get a discount code from nhra. Just send them an email, I got mine the next day. Saved $32.50

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Renewed mine, $97.49 after discount applied. Took a couple of emails, first promo code they sent said "time window expired" (entered it same day) requested new code, had me use same code again...this time valid and received 25% discount.
I'm sold....well worth it to watch my buddies race (and the right coasters) live. |

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Reading this pisses me off!
This service should be free to all members, keep the pin, decal and stupid coupons, you already took the t-shirt and rulebook. What the heck? Now you gotta beg for a darn discount code?????? |
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Don, I sent my emails to: support@nhra.tv.
There is also a Help Center link at the very bottom left of the NHRA TV front page below where they ask if you want to subscribe. The link will get you to their support people as well. |
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
FYI...apparently not all discount codes result in the same amount of discount. The one I received was only worth $10 off - from $129.99 down to $119.99.
I have emailed support@nhra.tv asking why...but I guess it is possible someone is just trying to stir up something here... |
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Emailed earlier today, still waiting. They did email back stating that a member will be reviewing my request. Also have a "Ticket Number". Let's see.

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
I am waiting
|
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Imagine that, waiting to hand cash to NHRA to purchase their product !, I guess some things will never change.

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
NHRA TV = Third world pay phone reliability, quality and service!
No Thanks |
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
When I visited membership services in Indy last year, found that if you bundled your membership and NHRA.tv together (haven’t done as of yet) that is was only like $89 I think for NHRA.TV. I would call into NHRA to make sure I guess.
|
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting.
|
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
I was wondering the same thing about how I was going to get the discount since my membership and car number doesn't expire until the end of May. Called Member Services, not NHRA.tv, and within 10 minutes they sent me the promo code for the 25% discount. The person I talked to was more than helpful.

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
340 just compare NHRA TV to Warren Evans offering.
|
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Larry,
Warren does a great job, but I think he will tell you his product is less complex and is usually at a lower resolution. That being said I wish NHRA, Sony or someone would hire him to work with NHRA.tv full time. Bill |

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
I got my discount code today. Pretty cool they have an archive of last years races and Pro Mod shows, etc.
|
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
I was able to get my code quickly by calling member services. Took about 15 min to get it and signed up.
|
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Lemme see if I have this right. They increase the price from $99 a year to $129 and then tell you that you can get a members only 25% discount back to the original price but you have to beg for it? What was it P.T.Barnam used to say? JIm

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Have always been a naysayer because of all the glitches but relented last year on the $29 Indy through end of season special. Was I occasionally disappointed? You betcha but at the same time I enjoyed the coverage that Warren is excluded from (the sportsman starting line camera from Charlotte, the Maple Grove coverage and of course Indy Friday-Monday sportsman and all of Reinhard’s announcing stand out). At the same time Warren (with Unk announcing) always provides great coverage with sponsors like the Volkmans that you can relate to. As Pete and Bill indicated, wish NHRA would utilize Warren more. That said, I’m going to again try NHRA this year, just need to be quicker with the “mute/pause” for tee shirt cannons, all of Nitro. No longer having to endure the FOX coverage and hear Tony is worth the $99 alone.

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Jim,
Sometimes it pays to start watching late, this gives you some time in the bank to fast forward through the t-shirt cannons etc. Of course there is nothing going on on the track during these times and you can go and do something else and rewind if you come back late. As may have become obvious even with its warts, real and perceived I am glad the service is provided. It gives me a way to watch my Stock and Super Stock heroes (you included Larry) with out being there. While I am a huge Brian Lohnes fan, I seldom watch Fox even when they are live preferring NHRA.tv. Bill Lamb SS/BS 4340 |
Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Guy's n' Gals your NHRA TV code can be found on your account page after logging in to NHRA.COM right underneath where your licences are displayed...

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Mine just says "there are no records."

Re: 2020 nhra.tv
Found the code but it is invalid? Imagine that.
