Re: quadrajet question
I have a Deano's Quadrajet (built from a new core) that has never been installed, that was built for a 305 Super Stock motor. Dean built it with specific instructions to calibrate it on the lean end of the richness scale, so that it could be used as a "bad air" carb. Based on that, I think it would be almost perfect for a 305 stocker. PM me if you're interested. I'll treat you right.

Is that carb new or used and how much do you do you want.

Re: quadrajet question
I have several Edelbrock Perf. Quadrajets = New and used
I put one on my National Record Holder Dodge Truck a few years back with no changes except rods. It ran within 2 Hundreds of my best pro modified piece. The are legal since they quit running numbers and just measure them now = as long as the right size in dimensions! |
Re: quadrajet question
Yes it should be very close to a 255/350. But it depends on what air they were in the last time they ran the car compared to the air you are going to try it in. If that carb was last ran in July and you are going to try it in October, it could be a little on the lean side.’
