Track Rental

What's the cost to a racer to "rent" a track for a weekend, Fri-Sat. type deal?

Your best bet is to call the track to get the numbers based on what you are trying to do. As of now we are not renting the track for our events, but rather run on what they call club days where each racer pays a gate fee and then pays to race with the various groups that are in attendance. It cost us nothing as an association to run on these dates so there is much less risk to us if car count is low at an event and allows us to pay what we pay without additional overhead.

If you are just looking to rent the track to test, they do some private test sessions which are limited car count and usually $150-$200 per car. They will probably only be able to hold these types of events in Tucson during the month of January with the capacity restrictions the county has implemented.

There definitely isn’t a cut and dry answer from the conversations I’ve had with the track. If you are interested call the track and talk to Matt DeYoung. He can work with you to figure out whatcost would be for what you need in Tucson. I’m not sure who to contact right now at Wild Horse Pass as they are going through some management changes.

I think 10 cars at 200.00. Guess I should read what I wrote. 150.00 per car with 1 crew member
