Ford C4 Transmission Build

I am building a back up transmission for my car 1988 Mustang stock eliminator K/SA. I am a newby to youtube but giving it a try. First off I am no expert at anything, I have thick skin so dont be afriad of affending me. Comments welcome, I have learned everything by doing. I have build my stocker from the ground up everything, except when i dont have the tooling to do it like engine machine work like block and cylinder head work. I do everthing cause I enjoy it. Knew nothing about fuel injection when I started on this car. I have learned a lot and still learning. I tune my own car.

So I am documenting this tranny build because all this knowledge is in my head and after a couple of years of not doing it, you forget the small things. I will go over the modification I do, part# and machining parts for rollerising the trust washer.

Maybe I convert some stick guys to the dark side LOL

Yes that is what I was trying to do, had to step away from the computer for a couple of hours to gain my sanity after a couple of hours trying to do it. Thank you Dave. I will send you a PM need to know what I am doing wrong. I have part 2 ready to go.

Good job, James

Is it fair to say this young guy is a real Old School racer?

BTW, you just paste the Y/T URL on this forum..This one's easy.

Mark thanks for the compliment. You came by at a race (I think it was Woodburn) a couple years ago and ask about who does my motor. We had a talk about my car for awhile.

Have 2 more video’s just need to do some more editing. Low gear set and a governor modification.

Thanks to Dave Noll for posting my YouTube video’s. Still trying to do it myself, getting closer. For some reason still just post the text. Will be trying later today.

James, to me, this embodies the true spirit of hot rodding. I enjoyed the post, good job.
