SBC: 66 years and counting Quiz.
I purchased a book entitled "Chevrolet 1955 Creating the Original. A lot of cool facts, and neat pictures about the building of the GM Classic. The book also has a section on the development of the Chevy v8 265. The quiz question is "what were the first problems GM had with the 265 v8,and what did the dealers do to try and fix them?Hint: One required a substance to be poured into the engine.

In 57 when the fuel injection version of the 283 was released it was said to be the first engine to make 1 H.P. per cubic inch. When some doubtful GM engineers got around to putting one on a dyno what horse power did it actually make?
