Good resource here, we tow a Honda Fit (weighs only 2600 lbs) and use a Blue Ox baseplate and tow bars….easy peasy

Vic: Are you thinking of a "Trailer Toad"?

We used a 5200 version with our Motofrhome
Towing a 2 car Stacker and it made all the difference
in the world towing it!!

Not hard at all, i loved mine, biggest pain is to have to get out, put in a pin to back up...
i had a bearing go bad one time but i had enough room in the trailer to put it in, hooked the rv and trailer back to normal and went home, oh yeah i forgot the extra charge for tolls, if ez pass, some booths count axles, i had rv. toad. and 3 axle trailer. that added up in the northeast!
