Throttle stop inconsistent HELP!!!!!

Well the title pretty much sums it up but here's some details:
It's a Dedenbear TS-6 stop. I have the stop RPM set at 4200. I've heard that it may need to be higher to make the cars repeat in the bad air. Does anyone have any experience with this throttle stop? Dedenbear was really no help besides check your connections. My car is either 11.00 or 10.80, when I split the dif in the box it's 10.96 and my dad's is 91 91 89 in time runs and 82 first round the next day with a tad better barometer. Is the RPM good? Should I kill the cars faster? Bring them back faster? We are running Q16 also this year but we did the 4-6 jet size thing and are thinking the inconsistency is in the TS only but if you have any tips on the Q16 as well it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!!!!

Check to see if you hold a consistant rpm while on the stop. I shift by time . My car holds a consistant 4100 rpm the 2.5 to 3 sec. it is on the stop. When my car is inconsistant that is the first thing I check.

Have not run Q16 but it could be part of the problem. By going richer on the main jet you could be to rich on the stop. You could try leaning out the intermediate air bleed to see if this helps

How are your 60' times when your runs are all over, we had trouble like that but our 60s was floating too, we ended up changing the co2 bottle (which still had preasure) and that took care of it, Im not sure if yours is elect. or co2, we use #1 stop, on ours our RPM's will climp while on the stop, however we are on stop for almost 4 sec.

I can check my dad's computer graphs to check out the consistency on the stop. I'll talk to my dad about that being too rich on the stop thing.

Unfortunately my car is back full throttle by the time I hit the 60' timer so it moves. That's why I was thinking about raising the stop RPM to 4400 just to be able to have more time in it so I can use the 60' times. The air bottle has just been filled so it's got between 1000 and 1500 psi of bottle pressure.

Thanks for the tips, guys!!!

Get rid of the Q16 because it takes so much effort to get the carb right. Go to 115 or 114 and return the jets to their original size. I wasted too many races trying to get this right myself. When I went back to 115 and the jets Gary Stinnett told me to run it picked up .15 also.

Raise the throttle stop RPM to 4500 so the timer does not come back on during the 60ft and the car will return to it's previous consistency.

Thanks so much, Don. We used to run C12 and never had a problem. Is that an acceptable fuel? It works for both the motors' CRs so it's been the only other thing in my tank.
Hopefully this fixes it all and I'll actually get to put some runs in your program once the car makes some quality runs :)

C12 is fine for under 14 to 1, over you should look to 115 imho.

What jets did you run when you ran 112?
