2020 Season Schedule

Well the 2020 ACSSA Schedule has been finalized! We have expanded to an 8 race season, over 4 double header weekends. Payouts have also been upped this year with $1000 plus contingencies and special awards going to winner at each regular event, and $1500 on each day of the Miramichi National open. Also we would like to note that the NHRA National Open at Miramichi Dragway again falls the weekend following Napierville's open, making the perfect vacation opportunity to hit 4 events, grab 4 grade points, and enjoy beautiful Eastern Canada all in less than 2 weeks mid summer!

ACSSA Race 1 - June 27th - Greenfield, N.S.
(Season Opener doubleheader)

(NHRA National Open doubleheader)

Do they all allow Pure Stockers?

Hi Dan; yes Pure Stockers can race at all ACSSA races. The 3 from this area only race intermittently as the owners also race traditional Stockers, but if you hit the road to come here you won't be turned away!

Re: 2020 Season Schedule

Jeff and Mark:

I am planning to try and hit as many as possible.
Have other obligations but loving the idea.

Napierville July 17-19 looks the best
Miramichi July 24 - 26 and Miramichi in August 15/16th
Are a challenge.

Would have to fly back and forth parking the Car, Trailer and Tow Car.
Where would I fly in and out of to race at Miramichi?

Going to try and video as much of the trip as possible.

Also was a Contingency sponsor with IHRA Pure Stocker Challenge.
Would it be prudent to offer contingency if a PSer wins or comes RUP

Re: 2020 Season Schedule

Hi Dan,
Regarding your fly in fly out options you have a few. If you were to leave your rig in montreal area after napierville you could easily fly in and out of there, it's a long days drive but can be done from there to Miramichi. Also you could fly in and out of Fredericton NB, as one of the ways to get to Miramichi passes through there. However MDP opens up wednesday, and there is testing usually available thursday, with eliminations starting friday so a short vacation can cover those two events back to back. Many of us do "the canadian swing" and stay in a campground. As for the Greenfield event in August, you would pass through the major hubs of Moncton NB, and Halifax NS which both have international airports, between MDP and Greenfield. There are many local racers in the area who would let you park your rig. I am located exactly halfway between the two tracks, and only 40 minutes from the Halifax airport, I have plenty of room for your rig and can provide you a ride to/from the airport if you so desire. Hopefully you can make the trip, the more the merrier!

WOW thanks...!
I going to start looking up Motels where to stay.
Hoping my wife will come but does not like going to much to the track.
Be nice to see if a few wives she can talk to or go shopping with when they are bored.

Figure we can tour Montreal and Quebec in-between.
I can take my computer to maintain a work schedule.
