2022 Race Schedule

Announcing the Northwest Class Racers (NWCR) Association

The mission of this association is to provide a great race experience with a good purse. There are no NHRA Stock / Super Stock races that have a decent payout in the Northwest. By scheduling races with good payouts at good venues we hope all Class Racers in the Northwest will support this association. Come out and have some fun racing with us.

*** Race Dates and Locations ***
We have 3 race dates scheduled in 2022.

Every effort was made to schedule double-headers; a race on Saturday and a race on Sunday.

Pacific Raceway, Kent, WA - Aug 13-14. One race only, 2 qualifying runs on Saturday,
1 qualifying run on Sunday, then race.
Renegade Raceway, Yakima, WA - Sept 10-11 - doubleheader
Woodburn Dragstrip, Woodburn, OR - Sept 17-18 - doubleheader

See our race rules for specifics on conduct of the race. No quotas, no grade point requirements, no AFHS, and good payouts. Go fast and have fun.

That was brought to our attention 2 days ago. We are in discussion with the track manager to clarify the situation since we did not agree to those dates.

I just learned about the NWCR events. I am considering the Woodburn race. Did anything get worked out with a race at Medford?

On ClassRacer.com look for "Northwest Class Racers Association" in the FORUMS section where our schedule, rules, and other information is posted. We are also on Facebook as "Northwest Class Racers" with similar posts.

Northwest Class Racers has back-to-back double races coming up at Renegade Raceway in Yakima, Washington on September 10-11 and Woodburn Dragstrip in Woodburn, Oregon September 17-18. That is 4 races in a span of 9 days. Come for both weekends. Yakima is a short 215 miles from Woodburn.

We could not reach an agreement with Medford on race dates so we gave up. Shortly afterwards the track posted a STK/SS double race but we are not part of that event.
