Year end points and make up race
 

Last night after the race I spoke to Henry Martin (track owner) regarding our rained out race last month and what we should do in regards to making the race up. Basically there are two options:

1) On the November 13th race (last of the season) we can run two races in one day. We will qualify first w/two time runs as usual and then begin our race. This will put us at the first of the order so we will end our first race a little earlier. Usually the bracket racers go a couple of rounds extra, so it wouldn't extend the tracks working hours too much. After completion of the first race we will give 1 time run for anyone that wants one and then go into eliminations. If we go w/ this option obviously there will be a $75 entry fee for each race. Also, points will be awarded as we had previously planned for a best 5 out of 7 races.
2) The other option is to just run a single race as planned on November 13th and that would be the final points race of the season. In this case points will be based on a best 5 out of 6 races.

If there is rain or for some other reason the November race is not completed we will probably just take the best 5 races of the season for points and not make up the two postponed/cancelled races unless the track decides to reschedule. (Pray for another beautiful day like yesterday!!!)

I need to hear back from everyone that races w/ us by either private message, email, or phone asap so I can let the track know our intentions.
