Stocker Horsepower
What kind of horsepower does it take to get a 3400lb Stocker into the low 10's and maybe into the 9's in good air?

Re: Stocker Horsepower
Takes close to 580/600 Hp to get our SS to run those numbers.
We do not have any Stockers that weigh that than can do those numbers We run nearly exclusively = Engines that are under 350 CID and Mopar to boot at that. |
Re: Stocker Horsepower
To get in the 9.90's. I would say you would need to average over 600 hp. across the range.

The more the HP hangs on past peak HP RPM. The higher the RPM you can shift at and the more rear gear you can run. The opposite would be if HP nose dives after peak HP RPM. Stan |

I have seen this mentioned a number of times and am curious about what factors contribute to an engine's ability to carry HP past peak. Rick Thomason GTOMayhem |
