Running a 1996 Firebird vs Firehawk

If I wanted to run my 1996 Firebird Formula as a Firehawk to drop down a class (weight breaks are different 8.41 vs 8.52). Do I need to put the center console and dash badge on it to do so? Outside decals are no big deal. It’s already ram air and the rest of the differences between the 2 production vehicles are stuff we don’t use in stock (billstien shocks, exhaust, floor mats ect). So it basically comes down to outside decals and those 2 interior badges. I know it’s a bit of a dumb question. But It’s this or put the 98 front end on it if I want to run C. Obviously the decals and badges are a easier and less expensive way to do it. But don’t want to spend a couple hundred on two little badges if I don’t need to either.

I ran my 1997 Firehawk in Stock and its shipping weight was 3005 lbs. It had stuff on it that made it lighter than a Formula , including an aluminum driveshaft . I thought the shape of the scoops were different than the WS6 version of the Ram Air hood .

The hood is the same through 1997. The 1998-up cars got a different hood.
