Hey guys, we made it to the Jegs Sportnationals. Its JEGS Performance Speedweek and its going to be busy. We get a National event, a Division race and we finish the Bristol National. Weather for the week... hot with a chance of a late day thundershower everyday. We start tomorrow at 8am with the Racer Appreciation Breakfast followed by Q1 Stock at 9:30.

Good morning everyone, its cloudy, its warm, and its humid, but no rain yet. Today is supposed reach 90 under cloudy skies. I will post weather numbers below along with todays schedule.

Good luck to all racers there. Trying to do 2 events plus finish the Bristol event. Sounds extremely ambitious, let's hope everything goes smoothly.

No, AFHS applies, only opens and Indy, usually, we are still waiting for that announcement for this year.

The Schedule has changed today as the scales are not working right. Stock should have been out after Super Street. Nothing as of now when Stock and Super Stock will be out.

Div 3 are all hardcore racers and for some racers, the winters are long n cold.
So any chance they get to race that grab it.
Look at their divisional numbers, usually over 100 Stockers & 80-90 SS.

Stock and Super Stock finally got Q2 in, they are running Stock Class now followed by Super Stock Class.

We are done for the night... Stock was able to get more than half the field for first round before the rains hit. The thundershower lasted about 15 minutes, but it was enough to end the day. Super classes have run 3 or 4 rounds, but Super Stock has yet to run round one. Not sure what tomorrow will bring, it will be a long day. We still have to finish the Bristol race along with the Sportnationals, and than the D2 to race.

Good morning all, the weather for today is pretty much a repeat of yesterday, with less chance of rain. As you can see the schedule is very detail and optimistic, but lets hope we can get all done today. We start off with finishing round 1 of Stock, and its round robin the rest of the day.

Any chance we can get some recognition for all the class winners too? If I had who all won, I'd post them myself. I know Morgan Taylor (D/SA), Cody Philips(Auto Combo running A/SA), Jim Marshal(I/SA), and Daren Poole-Adams(FS/D I think) won there classes, not sure outside of that

Class rounds and winners are up on DRC...

Super Street and Stock made there hit for the second race of the double. We are only getting one hit for the division race tomorrow and then we go into the Bristol race today, but its raining now. A strong thundershower is rolling through, lets hope its over quick.

We are almost done with Bristol race. Stock will have a heads up, Timothy Fletcher vs Jimmy Hidalgo SR in the F/SA final. Super Stock is still in the Semi's. Kent Hanley vs Jimmy Hidalgo JR... Jarrod Granier has the bye.

Good morning everyone, its the final day of the double. For some it was 3 races in one. I know its hard to get away from work, but I like these doubles.

Anyway, the weather will be a repeat from yesterday. Overall although its been very warm. For July in the south it felt no worse then Columbus last year for me. Car count was low, I guess there are many reasons, but weather was not one of them, at least not for me.

Super Street out first at 9am for rd 1, followed by Stock. With the low car count we should be done by late afternoon.

This event was awesome. They got in all three events even with the rain and lightning. The track was perfect all weekend. Lots of really good racing. The racer appreciation breakfast was good. Anyone that didn?t attend missed a good time.

Hey guys, I am home... Thanks Pete for the posting the winners.

A few thoughts on Jegs Speedweek. Like Mike Pearson, I also had a awesome time. Yes it was hot, but it was no different from Columbus last year. The track was great, given the high temps. The NHRA crew where great. There was no major issues that I heard about. We did have some rain delays, but all in all we got it done by Saturday afternoon.

Not sure where next years Jegs Sportsnationals will be held, but I think many missed out on good race and a very good track. There is not a bad spot to park here, its a great facility.

My next stop will be Indy, see you all then.
