Hey guys, we are here at zMax Dragway, Charlotte, NC. It was raining when I left this morning, but here in Charlotte its partly cloudy and no rain. Stacking is today, and parking starts tomorrow at 12.

The weather looks good from Thursday on with temps in the upper 70's with no rain in the forecast. Q1 starts on Thursday at 12 with Stock out first. We all get 2 shots down the track, first round Friday 8AM starting with Stock.

Good afternoon all. Parking went very smooth thanks to Dan and his crew. They started pulling us out at 11:45, and by 2pm the lot was empty. Still lots of spots left, so parking for rigs coming late or tomorrow should not be a problem.

I will have a part 2 video tomorrow as I rolled in today and ride through the pits. Mean while here are some photos to tie you guys over until the action starts tomorrow.

They are on both sides plenty of room.

Most stock and superstockers are on the left side with the pros, scale and fuel check is on that side.

Good morning everyone, normally they would be calling us to the lanes for Q1. As you know it will be a 12pm start with Stock out first, 2 shots for everyone. Its cloudy this morning, and it will be mostly cloudy today, but no rain in the forecast. Current temp as I type is 70, going up to the upper 70's.

Stock and Super Stock are done with Q1. Click on the link for a look at the scales... Q1 Stock. We are moving along quick, but I did get Super Stock in the lanes. I will have Stock later today in the lanes.

Things are going very smooth today. NHRA has decided to give a clean up run for anyone that did not get there 2 hits. I do have photos from todays action and will post them tomorrow. The weather for today has been very nice, with temps reaching just around 80 with partly cloudy skies.

Good morning everyone, Stock will be out first with a 8:30 start for round one. We get 2 rounds today before the pros start around 4pm. Weather for today, mostly sunny with temps in the low 80's.

Hey guys, we got 2 rounds in, Stock and Super Stock ended around 3:30. Another smooth day. Stock will be out first at 8:30 for round three. We were supposed to get 2 more tomorrow, but I heard they might gives us 3. That would leave the final for Sunday.

Well, I got cracked 3rd round so its time to head home. CJ put package together that was hard to beat, along with my pour attempt at a light... I was done for sure. I will have a rolling home video, so check back tomorrow.

It was good to be back at Charlotte after missing the spring race this year. I have two takeaways from the race, first I was very critical of the schedule before the race but I must admit it worked out pretty well and I didn't feel rushed and I know the staff was happy to not be racing at 11 pm tonight. It's still a tough deal for working people but we always seem to make it happen so I guess they can do whatever they want.
Second of all I don't know who was responsible for getting the temporary Verizon antenna at the track but a huge thank you for making it happen. My signal and Internet was flawless all weekend even with the pros on the track!
