As some of you know, Dodge pulled out of the Hemi Challenge earlier this year. Dad has always loved this race, so I stepped up and sponsored it with the Sox & Martin name. The past few months has been intense as it is way more work than I anticipated. After a lot of conversations with NHRA and some people internally really fighting on our behalf, we came to an agreement for them to run Friday starting at 11am for FREE. It will be on NHRA tv, but I'd really like it if you'd go to Youtube when it goes up and make supportive comments about them doing this. We have to show that if NHRA will show sportsman some love, they'll respond. NHRA will be making the announcement public tonight/tomorrow.

I fought and fought and fought or having Thursday up as well. I think I made enough of a stink that next year it will happen. I know for S/SS guys Thursday would be the better choice, I just couldn't get them there. Baby steps.

We're already talking about having things handled so they run free Wednesday - Thursday - Friday of next year so ALL of class eliminations will be live and free

Mike… Thank you to Yourself, your Dad and the Hemi Guys for putting the Program together. I’m a diehard Chevrolet guy, but I will admit the Hemi Challenge and its participants are definitely something to watch. They put a lot of effort and hype into the Event and it deserves attention. Me also a Chevrolet guy...but i watched the whole deal fri nite..Hemi Challenge this year 26 entries we at home are spoiled to watch these monsters of the midwY show their power.and love that more guys going the as Ken says "Hand Shaker is great.i remember maybe 2 Hemi,s had stick in them

Yes, it will be up forever and free. You can go to the link provided below. I'm hoping to have this locked up for next year, but starting Wednesday. They've now opened the comments section up, something they did not do when they first opened the feed. At any point if you can go into the comments and say thanks for having the sportsman feed up, it will only help my case when negotiating. We got this done on Wednesday night because I finally just had to ask what the price was to make it happen, then it happened.
