Hey guys, well its Tuesday and we are at the Jegs Sportnationals in Columbus... Speed Week 2024. I wish I could say the trip went well, but I'm just happy to be here... If you don't want to watch the complete roll in... go to the 16:33 mark of the video. I do use the F word more than I should, you may want to skip it.

Just be grateful that no one got hurt and that there is no damage...
Others have hit wildlife and not been so lucky.

My neighbour's friend got taken out on his Harley, coming back from Florida, about a month ago when he hit a deer...

Good morning folks, Its 7am and the rain just moved through in the last hour. It looks to be clearing up. I am sure start time will be pushed back a few hours as the rain came down pretty heavy. Start time was for 8am with Super Street out first. The rest of the week looks good as far as weather is concerned.

Stock and Super Stock was supposed to get one qualifier and than go into first round of class. I have no clue what the plan is with the late start.

Thanks for the videos Ken. Wish I could have made the trip. Hit a deer on the way to Jackson Drag strip. Not a lot of a damage. Body shop didn?t open the bottom drain of radiator so when I was on the way to Zmax it started running hot. Had to have it towed back to.Columbia, body shop paid and Gave me a rental car. Only missed one round of gualifing pictures.

Super Street was in the lanes, but mother nature said no. Its not a heavy rain, but enough to send Super Street back to the pits. As soon as they update I will post.

No clue on how many cars in each class, but the pits are full. We are still on hold, its very windy with sprinkles on and off.

Lets try this again, Super Street has been called to the lanes. They did announce that Stock and Super Stock will run class, but they did not say when. Its one shot and done for everyone for today.

It's raining again. Supet Street sent back to the pits. They should just scrap today and start over tomorrow. We have Sunday as the rain day...

Good to see you post Frank, for those that don't remember, Frank hit one on the track at the Grove, think it took the fender of his stocker. Then he lettered Deer Slayer on the car I believe

We are done for day. Start time is 730 tomorrow with Super Street. One qualifier and we run to completion. Fastest qualifier in their respective class gets the class win.

Good morning all, its a very pleasant morning with a temp of 64. I will post weather numbers below. The schedule for today is the same as I posted last night. A little disappointing that they did not use Sunday as the rain day and run class. Anyway its going to be a nice day with temps in the low 80's and no rain. First round will be after everyone gets one shot, it will be a long day for sure.

I will have my usual in the lanes with Stock and Super Stock along photos from todays action.

Enjoyed your tour through the pits when you got there and the ride down from NC. Poor deer. You were talking about the older race cars in the pits and thought this might bring back a memory or two. From Zmax in 2014.

Gary has not raced in a few years, but I would not be surprised if we see him out again.

It might be a while until I post again, but I do have videos in the lanes with Stock and Super Stock. I have to work on my race car... not running they way it should. I will be sure to post Super Stock qualifying as soon as its up

Stock round one is in the books, Super Comp running now, Super Stock to follow. I lost first round but I won big time. My race car has been slowing up almost every run since Galot. I found the issue in round one... good times.

Good morning folks, its early but I am up... so lets start the day. The schedule for todays action has been updated as you can see below. The weather will be a little warmer, but still nice for this time of year.
