Hi Ken, Mountain Mike Natoli from South Mountain Raceway Boiling Springs South Central Pa minutes from Interstate 81. We have many who come and visit us from Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia , Maryland , Delaware, NJ, New York, and Canada up to test and tune before the season starts to shake off the winter cobwebs. We are the finest 1/8 mile track in all of Pa. Give me a call if there is something we can help your association with. Our Spring Thaw Test & Tune is scheduled for April 14th, 2024. I'd love to support it, Ken. Unfortunately, we don't have a car at the moment, and with my health being questionable, I'm not sure if we will. But I am not quitting on it.

Just can tell you that the rental cost for a weekend or 2 days at MG you would need more then just Stock & Super Stock if its not well supported. We had to add Super & Pro this past year at the Stine race because the .90 portion wasn’t supported. Don’t know Ken’s plans are as far as location goes but just giving some insight.

IMO, The Class Nationals would have better success if the race was held at a track that typically has good support during the LODRS. Numidia does Not get great car counts in S/SS during the LODRS.

Just because it’s at a better track doesn’t mean racers will show up
It’s been proven already it’s a shame these same people cry about cost and no where to race need to show up
Hopefully there is another Class Nationals
But only if it make sense for Ken and crew he’s not doing lose $
But he’s not doing this race to make any $
He’s giving us in the northeast
Great payout and class racing
Support is needed as is racer participation no matter where it’s held

I say let's run at VMP, great track with a central location with a lot of racers here in the south. Guys in the northeast have already proven they won't support it so move it South. The guys and gals that really want to race it will travel from the north and the racers down here will show up even if you race 1/8 mile they're not real picky down here they just want to race!

There is no guarantee racers will show up, but the chances are better with the typical well attended tracks for S/SS. I for one enjoy Numidia as I have won there. I have missed every Class Nationals due to a Broken Valve in SS or a Rod in Stocker, so aggravating.

One thing we can count on is if you ask 50 racers where and when they would like to see this race held you would get 50 different answers. I don't believe Ken was looking for input about where the race would be held. He has a rapport with the owners of Numedia. The TRACK IS WILLING TO WORK WITH HIM AND HAVE US !! I'm sure at a price that is a lot less than most tracks. Kens looking for us to support this race at Numedia and at a time where a lot of us will already be there. So instead of adding input about where and when you would like to see this race held. How about offering support by attending and any other way you willing to help this race be a success.

A lot of us racers have been successful ($$$) in our private life's. Several step up all the time to help support our sport. But there are a lot more of us that could help make these types of races more successful. We like to come on to Ken's Class Racer site and complain. How about this time become part of those that step up and help make this race successful. I will be donating money to this race and hope others do the same. One thing I remind my friends about all the time is $$ is PAPER WITH GREEN INK, AND YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU WHEN YOU DIE. BP

If you had the Numidia race in May and MG in mid July, MG would still have more S and SS but the difference would be a lot closer. I know a lot of older guys my age aren't bothered by the heat as much as I am but I can't race 2 or 3 days with temps sometimes in the mid 90s along with high humidity which is why I can't do Numidia which is a shame since it's only 10 mile from my house, I come down to watch for 3 or 4 hours and have to go home to get out of the sun, my blood pressure med is part of that problem. Numidia still has better S and SS counts than the majority of LODRS races in the US.

I just think it’s amazing thing someone would want to go through the effort to put on a Stock/Super Stock race for all of us. We should all be thankful for that. Reading some of the comments is the exact reason we don’t have a lot of opportunities to have races like this in the first place. Leave it to Classracers to question the track it’s gonna be at, the time of the year, the time of the day, and which direction the wind will be blowing on that particular weekend. Thanks for the effort of potentially putting together another ClassRacer Nationals Kenny and Tim!

Geez, a dollar to a doughnut sez it will be at Numidia just like the previous CR Nats. You can support it OR not BUT how many times can Kenny beat his head against the fricken wall. The man LOVES Class Racing and has shown it time after time . Again, would someone remind me what the definition of INSANITY is ? Now is the time for Timothy Fletcher to repost his diatribe as to why class racers won’t attend a race like this. The young man was soooo spot on !!!! Happy New Year !! :):)

MG and Numidia are about 75 miles apart...

We hope the race is in the middle of two other races so we can get at least two races on the Eastern Swing. We hope that we will be able to attend.

Larry it will be good to see you and your boss in Division One. We hope you can talk several of your other Division 3 racers into going. Division one and three have the most sportsman racers. If we can get both our Divisions plus some from Div. 2 and others to support these types of racers. It will be easier to get tracks to put on these types of events. BP

The heat is something to watch out for. There are ways to do it. Maybe offer a race partnership with a person that has a RV to help get into air conditioning and in return they wheel the race car?

Hey guys,

Thanks everyone for your input and support. I will be posting the Flyer in a few hours, so yes it’s go. I’m pretty excited about this... all the info will be on the flyer, and I think you guys are really going to like the format.

We chose Numidia Dragway for many reason. The Wednesday before the D1 double race makes sense for everyone. They are the best track to work with bar none. They love sportsman racing and go out of their way to support us. They are the most accommodating track I have ever been to. They understand the racer, because they are racers.
