Live from Rockingham LODRS
Good morning everyone. I'm here for the Division 2 finale and as of right now qualifying has begun and the weather is beautiful. There is some weather looming to our west but hopefully we can atleast get a couple runs in and the rest of the weekend looks fantastic. I'll have some sheets a little later.....

Sorry to hear that Butch I was hoping you would add some pictures but probably a good choice as we are now on hold for a sprinkle. I thought we might make it another hour or so but the sprinkles weren't showing up on the radar ahead of the main front. We didn't quite make it through the entire first round of qualifying I believe they were in Top Dragster when this started and I can't imagine they will get back started before the main weather maker gets here.

Well the sun has popped out and they just fired up the jet dryer and it's a little breezy so this shouldn't take long to dry. Butch I think they're goal is to get everyone 2 runs and stay on schedule for tomorrow but if I hear anything different I will post.

They put out the call for Top Sportsman to the lanes then it will be Comp followed by the 2cd round. Looking at the radar it doesn't look good to the west of us so I don't think we'll be running long.

Ok Stock got there 2cd run and Super Stock was about to run when the heavens opened up again. I'm trying to find out what the game plan is from here but I don't see us going back to racing here today as late as it is and it's continuing to rain with thunder in the distance. As soon as I can get some information I will post it Butch but I can't see them starting earlier than 9 with the cool temperatures over night.
About the time I posted that it started raining hard with hail mixed in big enough that I can see it collecting on the ground yikes. |

Isn't this the final D2 race, plus a National Open??.. I can't find anything anywhere.. not surprised about DRC though.. UGH!!

That's correct Charlie LODRS today and the Open race tomorrow. I think the reason DRC didn't have the info was because the track didn't transfer the information from yesterday they shut there computers down early because of lightning at the track.
First round in Stock is complete and SS is getting their final Q run now. I was unfortunately paired in a heads up this morning with Steve Szupka like carrying a knife to a gun fight so I'll focus on my daughter for the rest of today and hopefully have some more updates later. |

Hey everyone sorry I disappeared there but we were having a cookout this evening so I got a little busy. In Stock the winner was Michael Brand over Pie Dent and SS winner was Jimmy Hildalgo over Robbie Draughon.
That wraps up the Division 2 season except for the NO tomorrow. The 1/8 mile Opens go pretty fast so I'm not sure if I'll get any reports in but I'll try to post the sheets if nothing else. |

The Stock winner in today's National Open was Jim Marshall over Del Britt and the Super Stock winner was Kenneth Horne over Josh Barczy.
That's a wrap for Division 2 but as miserable as my year has been I had a golden opportunity this morning for a photo bomb and it gives me a chance to highlight the great men and women that make these races happen for us week in and week out. Without them we wouldn't get to do what we do and I want to take this opportunity to thank them and let them know how much I appreciate them putting in countless hours every race.
