Health Issues, Jim Wahl
 

Another one of our racing Buddy's, Jim Wahl is in the Hospital with some type of Blood Disorder. They have done a Spinal Tap and some bone test to try and pinpoint the problem.
Lets all keep Jim in our Prayers and and hope for a speedy recovery!
As soon as i hear more i will pass it along. Being in the Hospital during the Holidays is stressfull enough, i know, i have been there! Get well soon Jim!

I just talked to Jim in the hospital. He's in good spirits. Wanted me to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. They still haven't figured out the problem yet, so they are poking, prodding and testing an awful lot.
The hospital is a terrible place to be at anytime, let alone the Christmas holidays.

Jim dosen't have access to as computer. At least as of yesterday
As far as health issues you are right. But I think it comes with age. the older we get the more common health issues are.
Getting old sure does SUCK. but it's got the alternative beat by a mile.

I'm Back. Just briefly, I spent 10 days in the hospital in ICU with a very rare bone marrow disease that was caused by a super virus yet to be named. After bone marrow sampling and spinal taps, I am at home now but can not leave my house except for out patient testing. I want to thank everyone for the calls and posts. Until you are in this sort of position you don't realize how much they help! This will take several months to recover from and I hope to make a few races this year. God bless all of you and keep me in your thought please! Jim

Thanks Sean. I think I got most things covered for now. I have a ton of Dr. appointments for a while, and another bone marrow core to do in about two weeks. Owwwwwwch! Those things hurt like hell! Jim
