Quicktme Resert
Where can you send a quicktime bellhousing for recertification ? Is there anywhere in Canada ?

Re: Quicktme Resert
Holley.com,. They are under the holley umbrella
|
Re: Quicktme Resert
I looked in there website but could not find any info or address to send it

Re: Quicktme Resert
866 464 6553, try this

Re: Quicktme Resert
In the past you would need to contact Holley Tech Service to set up a order to send in and have it re certified. They let Ross McCombs go about the time I retired so I don't know who will perform them going forward.
If you have issues i can get the name of the product manager to figure out how to get this done. Robin |
Re: Quicktme Resert
Thanks for the replies. I will try and call them this week.
|
Re: Quicktme Resert
Thanks for the info Robin, I did not know about Ross, I knew about you, just wondering where Holley is going.
|
Re: Quicktme Resert
I have a number that I believe Ross answered and he would walk you thru what to do (Holley, shipping etc). Was Ross the founder of Quiktyme ? Something tells me he was, and sold but kept working for them. He was VERY helpful when I got mine recerted. PM me here and I will give you the number. If he is not there anymore, maybe someone will answer the phone.

Holley has discontinued the Quick time bell housing for a Small Block Mopar with a Jerico. These companies have gotten too big and screw the little guy. |
Re: Quicktme Resert
Quicktime used to be a great company before they got bought out. Good quality product and reasonably priced. When I needed on recerted, you would actually talk to the owner
on the phone. As soon as they got purchased, all of their bellhousing got doubled and tripled in price. |
Re: Quicktme Resert
I tried the number that Dave supplied me .It was no longer in service. Tried Holley's number but was stuck on lifetime hold. I will try again Saturday morning. Hpefully better luck.

Re: Quicktme Resert
I remember going through the same ordeal when I had to get my QuickTime recertified. I don’t know how many calls I made until someone gave me Ross‘s number. He was able to get it all taken care of. Since then I went with the Mcleod aluminum. Thank God I don’t have to go through that anymore.

Thanks Bob, you might have my favorite Stocker:D
Just spoke with Jeremy at Holley. Called 866-464-6553 Chose "Tech Support", perpetual hold, twice. Called back, chose "Returns" Nice lady connected me with Jeremy, who apologized for the hold and said its 8:30 (CST) before everyone is answering. $250 for 5 year Certification Shipping to: Holley Performance Group Attn: Quick Time/ Lakewood Order (my order #) 6674 189th St. Albia, Iowa 52531 Says it will take 2-3 weeks. Happy New Year! |
Re: Quicktme Resert
That's good to hear. I'll have to talk to my friend and tell him to read your post.

Re: Quicktme Resert
Sure miss Tim Hyatt, used to take my bellhousings to the Hyatt Racing trailer, where he would inspect and put a new sticker on the bellhousing, often while you waited, unless he was busy, but normally on the same day, for $50.00 . No shipping, price gouging, or other BS.

Re: Quicktme Resert
The good old days, I`m sure. I thought the 5-year deal was a bargain, comparatively speaking. Let's see if this goes according to plan. I`ll post results.

Re: Quicktme Resert
Before Quicktime got bought out a few years back, the owner was about the nicest and most cooperative guy you could ever talk to. He would always take your call and the initial price of purchase and the recert fees were very reasonable. As soon as they got bought out, the price went through the roof.

Re: Quicktme Resert

Re: Quicktme Resert
I called Browell and ordered a new bellhousing yesterday; I was talking to Brian in about 5 seconds. I like buying from companies like that, pick up phone and call and you are talking or they call you back asap, someone that knows about what they are selling.
|
Re: Quicktme Resert
Someday I may have a browell, but for now my Quick Time will do. Also worth mentioning is on the recert I just had done, they stripped and re-powder coated the bellhousing. Apparently they always do that. new window cover bolts and clutch pivot ball too
