Jim was a super nice gentleman. Always fast when it came time to do so. He would just give that distributor a good turn and away he went. God's speed my friend as your wife awaits.

We are very sorry to hear the news!

We had several Heads Up Class Races over
the last 30 years and he was always a Gentleman and straighforward
although a few were only a couple thousands margin!

We will truly miss Jim! One of the funniest and nicest guys I ever met. Always made racing special when he was there! RIP!

Deeply saddened to learn of Jim’s passing, a more congenial racer you’ll never find! But as has been mentioned here previously, when it was time to go for it he let it rip!

He will be missed. A really nice guy. I remember talking to him about the Duster and he said he still had the pink slip sitting in a kitchen drawer with John Langdon's name on it.

RIP my friend. You always had a great story and plenty of laughs for us. A hard core class racer that could go fast and go rounds (past D7 Stock champ). Some great memories at the track around you, Donnie, Loges, Hummer and many others that would be around. Condolences to Donnie and the family.

Jim was a racer who possessed a rare combination of personality traits. He was both a genuine gentleman and a fierce competitor. Never saw him without a smiling face and a friendly joke!
