Arguing with the NHRA is like arguing with your teenager. My divisional Director still has not added my grade point from Bowling Green Kentucky. I paid my money. I showed up. I blew my **** up. Still no grade point!

Good luck. I made SGMP but broke on 2nd time shot(my broke bye competitor won the race), then ran Reynolds and the Open on Sunday. I haven't gotten grade points for any of those 3. All 3 races I was on the ladder, 2 I actually made 1st round. Took my money for entry without a problem though.

Have you contacted Cody as I was missing a grading point and he was able to fix it within a couple of hours.

You know, going on a platform such as this can truly display a complete lack of understanding by some. Just a little food for thought, sounds like they have your grade point issue resolved which must have been critical for the rest of humanities survival.

You can't see grade points till the end of the year. From what I know if get points from a race in your point total you get a grade point. If you are not showing any points for an event contact your Div. director. You get at least 10 points for passing tech.

Grade point to enter a National Event not season points. You only get 1 point for tech

When you try to register for a national event it’s on your info page on the right side also it gives to a time until you can register

Yes, I realize that, but mine shows last years grade points since it is greater than this years.

Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t they fall off after 365 days? I could be wrong on this but that’s how it was explained to me

Grade points are reset at the beginning of the season based on the prior year.

WRONG. You can see your points anytime and 10 points for passing tech????? You need to get another ticket cause your train left the depot a long time ago

We are not talking about season ending championship points! We are talking about earning 1 count that 1 point for showing up for a divisional or national open race. A few events have a race within a race and you can earn 2 but most it’s just 1. They can’t be reset at the end of the year because no one could race the first 1/4 of the season!

exactly right James. I was hoping you would chime in. The google guys are looking at the wrong thing. You are talking about grade points earned from the LODRS, National opens and Sportsnationals races, one per race. At 9 weeks before the race entry opens up for 8 grade points and each Wednesday reduces by one to be able to enter. What some of you are referring to are the points gathered to be the 'World Champ" of a class. That is a completely different animal

You are confusing Grade points with Divisional and National Championship points. Two completely different animals. Jim

I am well aware of the difference. I was referencing where the ten points for tech thing that the other poster (109E) mentioned was coming from. You should show the championship points in your yearly total, which would mean the grade point is also credited to you since you got points for the event. Seems to be the point that 109E was trying to make...but got blown out of proportion.

When I went to the Sportsnationals in 2020 (cracked a cyl head on test and tune day), I received the 10 championship points since I technically "passed" tech, but didn't run R1...and had one grade point when I entered Epping National last year (2021).
