Is Dave Pazak's GTX entered as a 1968 or '69?

The differences of model years are obvious to me, maybe not so much to others who should know. A spade is a spade isn't it?

Mopar hood applications are too liberal and need to be authenticated and I bleed MoPar. I'm fed up with the Stock Eliminator Rule Book being bastardized.
Bless me father (Tom Hoover) for I have sinned.

Paul Ceasrine was regularly wrong on a lot of topics. NO N96 available in 1968. Only the '69 cars could be optioned with the N96 fresh air package.

I respect Paul very much, but wrong, that '68 GTX has a '69 hood. I have never seen one that did, have you?

Good morning all, today starts the 2nd race of our double header. The schedule shows two qualifying shots then into first round. I have not talk about weather, but its been good, no rain and the temps were in the low 80's. Summer time at Numidia can get very hot, but we have been blessed with good weather. I'll post the current weather numbers now, and it has not changed much for the last few days. The DA has been hovering around 3500ft for last 2 days and I'm thinking that will be the norm for our second race. Start time is 9AM, with Jr Dragsters out first followed by Stock.

I few more shots from yesterdays action...

Temp 72
Bar 29.00
Humid 68%
DA 2693
Wind light cross
WG 82
VP. 544

I really like the finish line shots!

You seem to be about the only one who does them.

Re: "Live From" LODRS D1 Numidia Double

Sunday - Sunday - Sunday ---------- In a few minutes we'll kick off day 2 of this Lucas event and what a beauty .Weather gauges show it's 4 to 5 hun faster this morning and the stockers are parading and can't wait .

Yesterday -- well surely a lot of racers including myself found it challenging to find traction of any kind as it was a tuning and adjusting nightmare as some of the best tuners were scratching for some traction - guys like Barton, Morgan , Darroch, Goldman and many others had no answer as what to do to get some hook . Hopefully today will be better .Could it be that the traction compound shortage ???? Or maybe the lack of gold dust?? Conditions like yesterday are usually when the track temps are in the 135 degree area and I'd can't say it was that high .

They just called Stock to the lanes .........later.
