Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th

So, we have a new thread posted to get the word out for this event.
As far as raffles go: I decided since gas prices were through the roof and people were limiting what races they were attending this year that I would do a few raffles for the Dave Stine race on September 9th to 11th for a 3-day Tech card (This is Fridays High Roller, Sat $10k race & Sundays Last Chance) or an entry into the main $10k event. We have done 2 so far for $40 at 20 spots and may do some other versions in the near future leading up to the event. My plan is to do 8 or 9 more leading up to the event, we shall see how times goes with my work schedule. This is all done through Facebook as it's the easiest way for me to go Live, I am sorry if you don't have Facebook but, this is the easiest way for me to monitor who enters. I cannot give you a time nor date when I will post these raffles but, expect one each week usually in the early portion (Mon or Tues) so you will need to follow along on the Facebook site or have a friend who is on Facebook let you know when I am doing them. I will try to post something on here but, will not accept numbers from here, you will need to text them or e-mail me when it goes live. All payments are through Venmo or Paypal. If you have any questions please reach out to me and talk. 2022 Dave Stine Memorial & .90 Nationals Where: Maple Grove Raceway September 8th, 2022 Early Parking: 4pm to 8pm Date: September 9th to 11th Schedule: Friday, September 9th, 2022 Gates Open: 7am with Parking Track Operated Test & Tune: 9am till 7:30pm ($60.00) .90 High Roller Race – Starting at 12pm with Round 1 (Separate event from the Test & Tune, must purchase separately at Rob Keister’s trailer) $120 entry – Based on 48 Cars - $3,00 to win / $1,250 RUP) Quick Door Car Q1 – 3pm Quick Dragster – Q1 – 3:45pm Juniors – Q1 – 4:15pm Gates close at 9pm for parking Tom Froelich Band – 8pm Saturday, September 10th, 2022 Gates open – 7am Rotation Juniors – Q2 – 8:45am (First Call to the lanes at 8:20 – cars will go down the track at 8:45am) Super Street – Q1 Super Comp – Q1 Quick Dragster – Q2 – Fields will be set Super Gas – Q1 Quick Door Car – Q2 – Fields will be set **Time permitting - .90 Cars will get a second qualifier** Pre-Race – Starting at 12:30 or sooner with Dave Stine Tribute R1 starting at 12:45 with Juniors till completion for the night BBQ to start at 6:30pm Lovelace to hit the stage at 8pm Sunday, September 11th, 2022 Gates open at 7am Q1 – One and ONLY One Qualifier 8:45am – Juniors, Super Street, Super Comp, Quick Dragster, Super Gas, Quick Door Car Eliminations to start after Q1 till completion After 1st round there will be a 2nd chance race for $75 but, you must lose *** THOSE STAYING FOR THE NHRA PEP BOY NATIONALS THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND, YOU WILL NEED TO EXIT THE PIT SIDE AREA AND STACK OUTSIDE GATE 4 INTO THE FIELD TILL PARKING OPENS FOR THE NATIONALS. Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
So as everyone knows we are doing a few raffles for entries into the Dave Stine Race on Facebook and at the Mid Atlantic .90 Races for the next couple of weeks.
The next Facebook chance to enter will be next Monday starting at 12pm. I had set it up to hit this Monday and with everything going on at Numidia, I totally forget about it till I started getting PayPal & Venmo payments yesterday, so I apologize if you didn't get in. There will be chances this weekend at the Cecil County .90 Race to enter and we will do a Raffle just for people who show up this weekend at the track. Same entry format may expand the list to 30 spots depending on the interest and we will pick at the BBQ Sat Night. Josh Grahm of Eastern Raider Motorsports is also putting up a free 3-day tech card for anyone who was a member of the series after the first weekend. All 92 members will go into a hat and we will choose one person to get the free tech card. If you don't have FB and want to get into the raffle for next monday, please shoot me a text at 856-332-2851 and I will send you Paypal or Venmo info to enter. |
Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
So, over the weekend we did a chance for anyone that was in attendance at the Mid Atlantic .90 event at Cecil to grab a spot in the Waffle # 4. This was a separate Waffle for the paying members of the .90 series to have their own shot at getting a free entry. Unfortunately, it didn't fill all the way, so we have about 7 more spots open for anyone who wants to jump on in.
$30 is the entry as we opened it up to more spots to lower down the cost. This is your chance to win a 3-day tech card for the Dave Stine Memorial at Maple Grove the weekend before the Keystones. The High Roller Race on Friday, the 10K race on Saturday and the Sunday event. If you don't have FB you can hit me up via text to jump on in. Here is the list of people who have already grabbed a spot 1. Tom Slater 2. Bill Loveland Jr. 3. Frank Tatarynowicz 4. George Smith 5. Dave E'Nama 6. Dave Rowe 7. George Stack 8. Mike Epprecht 9. Derek Clark 10. Tony Barrett 11. Brian Gauntt 12. Steve Everett 13. Rich Price 14. Jeff Livezey 15. Billy Loveland 16. James Alston 17. Amanda Boicesco 18. 19. Kathy Smulligan 20. Steve Everett 21. Dave Bergfeldt 22. 23. Eric Reiff 24. 25. Pete Luciano 26. 27. 28. 29. Pat Nuzzo 30. |
Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
So this raffle filled up at 35 spots, we will be doing another raffle to start via Facebook on Monday, July 25th at Noon. So if you are on Facebook, go over to the Mid Atlantic .90 site or Dave Stine Memorial site to place your spot or give me a text / ring at 856-332-2851 to grab a spot. This is a very easy way to get into an event paying $10,000 to SC, SG & SST on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 and two other events, so don't miss out.
So far we have awarded 4 drivers - 3-day tech cards through the raffle and one free one put up by Josh Graham Motorsports which gave away one to anyone who was a member of the Mid Atlantic .90 series in points for 2022 - the winner was George Smith in SG. |
Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
A new raffle is now open on FB, this gives one lucky racer a free 3-day tech card for only $30, if you are interested and don't have FB, please shoot me a message at 856-332-2851

Once racing is completed on Friday & Saturday Night, don't pack up the golfcart just yet! On Friday Night, the Tom Frohlich Band will rock out in the pits for all racers to enjoy on what would have been Dave Stine's Birthday. On Saturday Night, back by popular demand after performing at last year's event, Lovelace that 70's band will rock out along with the Racers BBQ Pig Roast that will happen!

Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
We met with the staff at Maple Grove to work on the final details for this event this morning. We've had to make a minor schedule adjustment to the weekend to give everyone some time to travel to/from the track and know that you will have a short weekend the following weekend if you are planning to do the Keystones. The Early parking that was planned for Thursday Night has been scratched. Friday we will open the gates at 2pm till 10pm. We are planning to start the T&T & High Roller race at 4pm till 10pm along with trying to get Top, Top & Juniors that time shot. Shane & I will be working on a schedule for that night to try to get it all in and give everyone enough time runs on the track.
Saturday & Sunday will be as planned and depending on car counts, we may look into a 2nd chance race on Saturday for those who lose after Round 2 but, time will tell. |
Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
Thanks to Big Oak Fuel, Super Comp Racers will now have $4,000 reasons to be at the Dave Stine Memorial on September 9th to 11th. John Asta the owner of Big Oak Fuel pulled me aside at Atco and wanted to up the game for the 8.90 crowd for Saturday the 10th.
Super Comp will now pay out $12,500 to win & $4,000 to runner-up for Saturdays event! We will also be looking to throw together a 2nd chance race following the 2nd round of the DS event for all .90 classes and Juniors for those who go out early. If you would like to double in two or three different classes, as long as your car passes the specs for the class and you can hot lap, if need be, we will allow you in, we cannot though allow you to double enter the same car in one class. Remember this is a non-points event for the series so EVERYONE is welcomed!! You can visit Big Oak Fuel at https://bigoakfuel.com/ for all your home heating needs they deliver to all of Lower Bucks County at a discounted price. |

All .90 racers, Since you will all be paying at the gate for this event to make things easier on Dana & Myself in the lanes, Mike Beard of Staging Light Graphics made up run stickers that MUST be placed on the cars front windshield so we can see what races you are entered in for the weekend. I know we can go check tech cards but, have you ever had to run up and down the tower steps at the Grove 🥵🥵🥵….you find out how out of shape you really are.
We will have a special marking that the front gate that will be marked when you enter the events on the right side. We all would love you to enter all at once when you enter the gate but, If you choose to enter an event down the road you will still go to the front gate to enter & pay and we will be notified by the front gate that you have entered. |
Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
Just want to take a moment and THANK all the sponsors who have come on board to help make this race a reality. Most of you know that have talked to me, know the curveball that was thrown at Jeff & Myself about 16 days ago but, we stuck to our guns and made this race happen come h--l or highwater. We really hope you all come out and support this event. I know Indy is the weekend before and the Keystones are the week after but, this is the only race of its kind for the 2022 season, so come out and support this event so we can keep on putting events like this for you in the future!

Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
So, we heard the call that opening the gates at 12 and trying to get in, teched and ready for the High Roller Race by 1:30 was a little impossible. This was the reason for the early parking on Thursday but, that got nixed as they will be trying to prepare for the Nationals. So we will open the gates on Friday at 9:30am, we will kick things off for the High Roller Race at 1pm with Super Street, Super Gas, Super Comp and a special Top vs Top Shootout so the gives you all a good 3 1/2 hours to get in and settled in for the weekend.
Trust me, for those who know me know I am very organized and like to communicate to everyone and work with everyone to make this one of the best races on the East Coast! |

Re: Dave Stine Memorial @ Maple Grove - Sept 9th to 11th
The week is finally upon us, I feel like just yesterday I was screaming 150 days away! I hope you all come out to support this event, even if it's for one day or all three. We wanted to make this a racer friendly experience that when you roll out the gates on Sunday on the way home that you say, I hope Rob does another one next year!
I will be starting a live from feed probably on Thursday as I plan to get to the track around 3pm, I won't have my sidekick Robbie with us this year who did the live feed from last year's event as Keith said he's "gone fishing". Hopefully Keith, myself or anyone in attendance who wants to jump on and say a few words or share some pics that would be awesome. From what I have been told 2-3 rigs are already parked at the gate waiting to get in. |
