We are here! Looks like the fields are going to be a little slim this weekend! Just by driving the pits late yesterday, it looks like you could park about anywhere you wanted! We got lots of rain last night so the 8:00 start time probably won’t happen. Super Street first out. The weather is not looking good and so the schedule has changed to 2 runs today for everyone and then straight into eliminations in the morning! The weather and price of fuel I am sure are keeping lots of people home this weekend. I will try to keep you updated of any changes!

I forget which track we were at years ago, a well equipped team had a lawn mower in the stacker. They mowed their pit area and I got a kick out of it :-)

I believe that racer would be Stephen Hebert, the Spyphish, from Division 4. He brings a lawnmower to the US Nationals since you never quite know when the pit area was last mowed.

Pete,
A few years back I took my push mower and a rake to the Divisional Race at National Trails in Columbus and mowed my pit area. Then a guy down from me borrowed it and did the same... You would think they (Track) would mow at least a day or two before a big event.

I went to help a friend race this weekend and have a complaint. The ladder that was on the side of the division trailer for first round wasn't even right. They revised it and didn't put up the revised ladder, so I tell my buddy who he has to run, come to find out, the guy he really has to run is in the lanes on the east side of the track. What a mess, there is no way to find any info at your trailer and you are supposed to know which side of the ladder you are one before you come up. Come on, division 3 get your act together.
