Re: Pro Stock
You can see all of Q1 on NHRA FB. Interesting comments by Brian and Alan. Everyone can judge for themselves but it’s pretty obvious things are pretty tense between the two camps.
Go Greg (and Dallas)!!! |

I personally did not think much of her comments after the first round of qualifying. The gist of what I heard was if you don't like what we are doing get your own multi million dollar team. I have become a KB fan this week. |
Re: Pro Stock
Greg said he didn't like these antics but didn't he start it last year?

Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT-----ET---Speed-----Car#-Driver(Opp'nt)-RT----ET---Speed
4 Greg Anderson 4255 John Callahan E1 ****WINNER**** 0.071 6.549 208.68 -0.232 11.072 82.46 Qualified: #1 6.558 209.85 #16 6.852 186.23 Greg Anderson is 367 - 106 (78%) in round 1. In the last 30 years the No. 16 Pro Stock qualifier is 5 - 25 in rd. 1 at this event. This is Callahan's first round of eliminations in a Pro Stock car. He goes red to give Anderson the win. Anderson runs low E.T. of the event for the win and lane choice in the next round vs. Kramer Keep the train rollin' Greg !! |
Re: Pro Stock
The KB cars have always run heads up in Eliminations, even at the expense of losing a Championship.
The ladder games are ok if you choose, but come at the expense of lane choice and the possibility of running someone you did not intend to. The opportunity to exploit the situation increases when your team has several cars entered, but only 1 car in contention for the Championship. In the past, when Jeg was also in contention, or in the case of Jason and Bo, the option for one of those teams to manipulate the outcome was almost a non issue because you weren't clear of impacting your teammate's year end points position either until the semi of final round. |
Re: Pro Stock
Rd 3 Pro Stock Anderson over Enders.
|
Re: Pro Stock
Anderson over Enders. He's the new champ.
|
Re: Pro Stock
So, the 'secret' is to run straight up and strong. 3 out of 4 semi-finalists were KB!! Congrats.
|
Re: Pro Stock
Congratulations to the whole KB team . You showed what team work can do. great job.
|
Re: Pro Stock
I am a Anderson fan, and happy he races the way he does. What when wrong for Erica, was she was a first round loser a few races back to her team mate Aaron Stanfield, and I believe that hurt her chances, but that is what happens when you race your team mate, and there is no dives. At that time of the season
