Anger Management?
What exactly do you have to do to get suspended and have to attend anger management classes?

Re: Anger Management?
Totally unacceptable behavior. NHRA needed to put an end to this immediately and looks like they did. Kudos to NHRA

Re: Anger Management?
NHRA got this one right. Thumbs up.

I can’t count how many times I’ve beaten myself over the years. But I’ve never put myself into the wall.....yet. There’s always next year...... :)

Re: Anger Management?
If I remember correctly a top fuel driver was required to take a anger management course. He did not and told NHRA to shove it and seems to still be competing in top fuel. Maybe I do not know the whole story there however, this last action against the racer seems well deserved.

Anger Mgt. Story:
Some 20+ years back I was trying to reset the record at a Divisional race. A Gentleman in the other lane totally burned me down and refused to stage his car stealing my opportunity! We got back to the scales and I decide to have a chat with him and maybe a little bit more than that. I threw my Helmet across the seat and jumped through the cage like a gazelle! As I hit my feet = I heard a loud ripping noise like canvas tearing. I looked down and realized that I had caught my racing pants on the bottom bracket of the window net. I had complete the pants totally in two from cuff to cuff and was standing there with the Sport section (If you get my Drift) flapping in the breeze. That might not of dissuaded me but a shape pain made me think = I might have left a good part of my sports equipment on the Window Net bracket. Probably saved me a year's vacation from racing. True Story - I can show you the Scar if you do not believe me. |
