"Live" from Bowling Green 2021 LODRS Division 3
 

We are not there yet, but I thought I would post this so others could let us know what's happening there. I know they started stacking yesterday and are supposed to begin parking this afternoon!

The weather is supposed to be hot and humid, so don't forget the water and Gator-ade!

From my sources at the track, parking was slow go this afternoon! But they were thankful that they began parking! No heading in toward the river this year, but parking in rows the opposite way! I think grass is sounding good this year anyway with the heat!

While everyone is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Larry and Patsy, the T and T was completed today. For a mere $85 .00 , one could experience the race conditions ….95 degrees in the shade, 49% humidity and a 29.55 barometer. The water grains were between 116 and 120. ….It appears as though the schedule for tomorrow has been updated and Super Street will hit the track at 8 am ….

We made it here at midnight last night. Lots of people here!

About 15 minutes ago , one o clock local time..the skies opened up. SC was running and Superstock was in the lanes. Gary Summers is your number one qualifier in stock. It came at a price though, Gary will be adding lead in the trunk come Monday morning.

So I pay $129 so I can see what I'm getting? Is it as least as good as last year? It explains nothing. We could watch our cars anytime go down the track. Please advise.

Another beautiful day here in Bowling Green! Temp now 75 with 92% humidity! There’s 113 stockers showing on the schedule for today. Everyone gets a shot at the track this morning then go into eliminations this afternoon with everyone running first round! We had an enjoyable evening getting caught up with old friends last night after catching an afternoon nap while it rained!

We just won round 1 and now we are on hold for rain! They got in round 1 of super street and Stock and alcohol! They were wanting to run another round tonight since it is calling for some rain tomorrow but now that depends on the weather!

We got to see a lot of racers we have not seen in a while in staging. Air temperature for first round was 92* and sunny.

And, since most everybody here knows I'm a Pontiac Freek, it will come as no surprise that "I LOVE it !!! :)

Don't have a clue why nobody even mentioned the winner. No report from the track after 9:05 AM. Seems some of these live from threads talk more about the parking than the racing. Seems that even tho DRC eventually posts results, somebody at the race, who knows, could at least let us know who won. Hey, it's just an observation, not a life & death deal. :)

Being a racer when we get beat we load up and head home or to our next race. We try to do a good job but sometimes we fall a little short.

I think that is two wins in a row for the tin Indian driver!

She's an accomplished racer with a number of national event wins, but I can't find a prior divisional win.

Mike no offense taken. I will be more disappointed by poor track preparation than anything else. The starting line needs to be fair for the high Hp cars as well as the low Hp cars. The BG crew did a good job with the high heat conditions.
Ms. Shipp is just a very good racer.
