Live from Galot
 

Well we left yesterday morning for the 5 hour ride south to Dunn NC getting here around 12:30. It was a uneventful ride with light traffic and better yet no problems. We ran the T& T yesterday since we haven't run since Maple Grove both the car and driver made good passes. There's lot of cars already here and looks like it will be a packed house this weekend. Were first out today at 9am and were scheduled for 3 runs today. The weather and the track are good so come on out.

Well made our 3 time runs today and the driver and the car did ok. We go right in to eliminations tomorrow after Jr's starting at 9. I'm not sure of the car counts but it looks like SS,stock, SG, and TS are pretty well represented. Photos to come.

I got to watch the second round of qualifying didn’t seem like super Street had too many any idea?

It looked like from a post I saw up in the Stock / SS portion to be about 60 in both classes. Super Gas I think I counted like 43-45 cars, SC and SST looked to be kinda lite, Comp I think had like 12 and TD/ TS was around 20 each.

Well I woke up this morning to thunder and lightning and it looks like were in for rain on and off most of the day. Not sure how much racing we'll get in today but we'll see. Here's some photos from this weekends action.

Well I made it to the 3rd round before my luck ran out and Jacob Rutledge gave me a finish line driving lesson. The weather looks clear for today so hopefully there wont be any down time. Congrats to the winners and RUs in S/St Jacob Rutledge over Brain Funderburk in SG Tommy Corbett over Ernie Knight In SC Corey Manuel over Sherman Adcock. Congrats to all.

Sorry about the lack of reporting or photos today. I lost in the 1st round of the open race and packed up for home. I just had no data for 6.90 index and needed more than one time run to get it dialed. I'll post some mote photos later.

Jake no we went to Indy last year and Bowling Greens on my bucket list. Our next race is the Maple Grove race.

Jake we went to Indy wanting to see the BIG SHOW unfortunately 2020 wasn't the year to see that. No spectators smaller car counts plus loss first round at 7am. So if I want to see the real Indy I probably need to go back in a couple years.
