"Live From" Numidia Dragway Double!

Hey guys, we are here at Numidia Dragway for a double. It seems like I was just racing 4 days ago.... anyway its a beautiful scenic track and the weather is perfect. High 70's and partly sunny. Today we are running the National Open, we get two shots down the track and tomorrow is first round.
Saturday is the division race and we do it all over again. We have well over 400 entries, and we even have division 7 car here. Robert Pond brought his beautiful 64 Thunderbolt for this race and the Class Racer Nationals. I would like to think he stop here for the double but really came out for the Top Stock at the Class Racer Nationals...wink wink. Here are some top end photos from Super Stock. Good morning everyone. Stock will be out first with round 1 at 9:00am. The weather this morning is very a pleasant 65 and partly sunny. Here are a few more shots from yesterday. I will have the qualifying sheets up shortly.

Good morning all, we have another great day for weather. A little warmer than yesterday, but for this time of year you could not ask for more. For you weather nuts out there, here are this mornings numbers.
Temp 75 Bar 29.09 Humidity 54% DA 2669 Wind slight tail Junior Dragster out first at 9AM followed by Stock Q1. I few more photos from yesterday, I will make sure I get Super Stock today. |

Its been a long day, lots of oil downs. Stock is still supposed to have first round today. If all goes well we should be called to the lanes soon.

Well we got some racing in tonight. One round of Stock, one round of Super Comp and they are running Super Stock now, but a few sprinkles has us on hold. I will have Super Stock photos up in a little bit, but enjoy Robert Ponds 427 Thunderbolt in Q2 today....

Ken, tell us more about the in car camera that pivots 360 degrees. And who is controlling it?

We are done for the night, Super Stock will finish up tomorrow morning.
The camera is called Insta360 OneX2. Its a 360 degree camera. It has 2 230 degree lanes. I don't touch the camera, it records 360 degrees. I pick the view in editing. |
