Just received word that Kyle Seipel has passed away after a tough fought battle with cancer. I never met the man but he was a true inspiration to everyone. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife , son and daughter. Kyle left quite a mark on the racing world. ......GODSPEED ......

Kyle's Family, Peter's Family, and the whole of the Drag Racing
Community have lost one it's Best Ambassador's. Kyle is gone
very much too soon. Prayers to all who were close.

My thoughts and prayers for Kyle's family. He was a great racer and friend to many
of us through the years. A monumental loss for the sport and bigger loss to his friends.

Truly sad news, for all who kept in touch and tried to send encouragement we knew this day could come, yet it did little to lessen the severity of this blow, when the news spread this morning. I was and will always be touched and amazed by Kyle’s warmth and inherent kindness, something I was a benefactor of on numerous occasions.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die.

Let the record show that our Buddy’s final time slip started with a bag of donuts and ended with a perfect dead on package!

NHRA let’s turn Sonoma into a celebration worthy of Kyle’s spirit and that infectious smile…

Oh no...... Always had fun joking and racing with Kyle. No doubt, a real hard working guy. Paid his dues in spades. Time to buy a new helmet as his will go on the display shelf now. RIP Kyle.

Most of us West Coast guys/Bay Area racers had a front row seat watching Kyle race everything from Bikes, Healey's, door cars and dragsters. Pretty sure he won with all of them. Kyle had some great teachers behind him, Dad Ted, Mom Georgia and Danny DaVita. All Champions! In the early 80's at Fremont- Kyle and Eric would hand us our time slips from the time slip shack. Always great to see them with the "thumbs up"!
The Drag Racing Community has lost a Great Friend and an Asset. I will miss his humor and his laugh. We will certainly miss his efforts.

R.I.P. Kyle. We never met but your positive attitude was an inspiration to us all. The west coast has a big hole in it's family now. The Seipel name is admired by all.

Very sad to hear of Kyle passing. Condolences to his loved ones. Met Kyle at Indy several times and enjoyed his personality. Rest In Peace Kyle.
