Canada switched to the Metric system in 1981 and you Yanks are reluctant to accept it even though it's been all around you for years. Think medical system, small valves and pistons in tranny valve bodies, valve stems, or how is your 55 mm cam working for ya?

Raced there a while ago at an IHRA points meet. The pits needed some work.

Go to Google earth on this track.
Looks like it is more suited to housing than racing. Nice homes less than 1/4 mile from it on the water way and encroaching from the south. I'm thinking the county commissioners see the same thing. Zoning and permits are all about highest and best use of property. |
