Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
Yep I use it when I bracket race my other car. I have checked it with the krestal that I keep with that car. Seems to be real close and changed when my gauges would. So I now just use it before dialing in

Me too. Proves to be accurate, so far. |
Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
Think the site will owe Tyler B some kick back for the
plug he gave them on the web cast. Lol |
Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
I've been using it a couple years. It may not be the same as your handheld but have you ever compared 2 handheld, most vary.

Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
This site references the closest weather station to the selected track. Same as bringing up your local weather on your phone.
Depending on your location, local weather can be several to 30 or more miles away. Typically they are only updated a few times per hour. This is fine for "ball park" weather and if you are only interested in a "ball park" ET prediction. If you are interested in being able to predict a level typically necessary to go rounds, we offer a line of highly accurate PerformAIRE weather systems that provide up to the minute information. https://www.altronicsinc.com/racing-...O_unit_web.gif |
Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
i do use this a reference,, its pretty good , it gives you a direction for your conditions ,, but you have the track at your hand ,, use it accordingly

Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
Has always worked pretty well for me.

Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
I look at it for fun/reference, but never to dial the car. That is what a dedicated weather station is for. #Computech for me.

I have not used it so can not say how well it works. It look like it uses the DynoJet SAE J1349 Dyno Correction factor as 100%. Most people will have had their engine on an engine dyno which uses SAE J607. Notice the DA = 1946 at 100% on this calculator. J607 at 100% is a DA = 0. Stan |
Re: Is Anyone Using This Weather Site?
Not sure if I understand you, why would you use -90 for dew point.

As I now look at it again. I really should have used something lower. While I did get Relative Humidity to 0% and Vapor Pressure to 0 in Hg there was still 0.01 hPa Vapor Pressure. Stan |
