Will the Belle Rose race be rescheduled so Texas racers can get stuff together after this weather

I agree, I haven’t been able to even start the car up, and testing before Belle Rose is not gonna happen, I’ll probably just wait on Houston race and hope for the best.
This is the first day above 25 degrees here in the Hill Country and still have 6 inches of snow and ice and another storm tonight and tomorrow with a 80% chance of snow and ice.
Can only imagine what people in north Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma are going through.

same here,no testing and about a week behind to get ready for belrose,wish they would postpone to a later date.

It's bad here but nothing like Texas. Grass parking will be tough at NPR. Hope my D4 Texans can hunker down. We have power but little water. RationPhish

Not disagreeing here. The more rescheduling that happens, the more race dates will run into each other. Not to mention each facility’s own plans.

when you have 2 feet of snow & ice with no power-racing is not at the top of the list at this time !

We moved snow for over an hour yesterday to get the Pinto in the shop to do some final winter maintenance on it. Some of the drifts were 4ft deep, but we expect this sort of weather when we're getting ready for Belle Rose.

Ranger was finished a couple weeks ago so it is ready to rock and roll.

I for one am hoping to get south for a couple of races for sake of sanity! We'll be in Belle Rose as long as it happens. Hopefully the majority of Texas and other southern racers affected by this weird weather will have power restored and relatively normal weather conditions back soon...

In addition to Ellis, I know of at least 6 other racers that are looking forward to making the tow down to Belle Rose from Illinois next weekend. I will have to move snow to get stuff loaded too.

That 70 deg forecast for Belle Rose next weekend is looking really good right now. Hopefully everybody can get thawed out and make it next weekend.

3 sunny days but temps ain't helpin' to dry grass areas as all day soaker yesterday. We are loaded just in case.

I just spoke to NPR. A decision will be made on Sunday or Monday about the points race.. That is all I know right now.

Trey has said in the past that D4 would not have a deadline to enter their events.

NPR should schedule it for the weekend that they postponed Atlanta. 3/26-28. They could pick up the racers after the race at Gainesville and SGMP. The Div 2 and Div 4 track owners need to work together to make the race dates follow each other, not fight each other. Not to many years ago the No Problem race followed the Gators. Made a nice southern swing for us Northern racers.

I don't think our Div. 4 racer that have this major weather problem can even think about racing at NPR next weekend. POSTPONE.

The weather forecast is good thru next Thursday. The weather is beautiful today and it will not be hard to dry out. I will keep everyone advised as best I can. Next week in the 70's.

You guys are just posting the temps and the weather I'm looking at shows some pretty good % of rain chances, as wells as scattered showers. My great granddaughter will be celebrating her #1 birthday Saturday in Erath, La. It was scheduled to be an outside party. I think they are having it indoors now.
I was going to take one of my race cars, but rain and puffed up previously frozen sod in the pits may not be the best situation.
My better judgment tells me.

It shows .12 inch of rain from now to next Sunday night. I'll take that at any race.

I agree on a later date for this race. On top of all this weather I had a pipe cracked in my racecar shop. 8 inches of water and down comes sheetrock and 3 cars trying to dodge it.

That date has been messed up on there for weeks. I wouldn’t take it as a reschedule date until you see an official announcement. Just an FYI.

Bella Rose schedule has not changed. It's still scheduled February 26th-28th.

I cant speak for anyone else, but I am preparing like the race is happening. Until I see communication that the race is NOT happening, then I assume it is.

Forecast from what I can see is about as good as we could ask for in Louisiana in February.

Looking forward to seeing everyone for the first race of the year.
