Rush Limbaugh
Very sorry to hear this morning that Rush Limbaugh just passed away from complications of lung cancer. Very sorry to see him go. You might not have agreed with him, but he always was interesting. He made long tows to the drags a little more fun, that was for sure. He will be missed.

The best appraisal of a man's life and work is to evaluate just who didn't like him. If there are some people out there who hate me, then I consider that a great honor, especially coming from them.

Re: Rush Limbaugh
I listened to him from the beginning, and cursed at the radio when he was saying how great wally/world was. I still listened and learned about so many things that were going on in this Nation that you would not have known about. He genuinly loved this Country, Law Enforcement, the Military, and Vets. He did so much for so many that will never be known of. God Bless him, he will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.

Re: Rush Limbaugh
Rush occasionally spoke of his Christian faith. Today, after his grand entrance into God's presence, he was given the grand tour of the eternal realm. They asked him for his response, and he said,"This place is absolutely perfect!! There's no liberalism!!".

Such a good hearted man. Gave unanimous contributions. $100,000 to the Shriners Children's Hospital that I know of.
Ditto Paul. You are swell guy. Little Peggy March had a song that might fit this. |

Please give me a name of a democrat official that has given more in charity than Rush instead of becoming richer for selling the soul of our country to foreign entities? Forbes has Rush as #4 in the list of celebrities in charity giving. Rush raised over 47 million dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through his teletons. Rush gave 13% of his salary to the Marine Corps and law enforcement charities. The money went directly to the charities and not to foundations that pocketed the funds through "overhead and operating costs" just like the Clinton and Biden Foundations. Yep, you may not mourn him and just act like the typical hollywood elites that celebrated his death all throughout social media. On the other hand, those in need that benefited from his charity, are the ones that will be missing him. |

There was a time that due to my employment and the places I traveled to, I needed to keep my real name behind the scenes. Since I do not longer travel to the places I did and just work now as a consultant, I can tell you who I am! My name is Joseph Elias, 63 years old with 42 years of engineering experience in the aerospace, government and military industry. Now working as a consultant for the same industries. Also a motorsports consultant for a few companies and been involved in drag racing and other types of motorsports since my exposure at the age of 10 in which I started cleaning engine parts at my uncle's shop. Before I forget; Hispanic/Italian, born in New York, Christian Faith, Conservative Republican, that believes in the Constitution, as written by the Forefather's of our Republic! |

Re: Rush Limbaugh
I worked with a number of people that expressed the same opinion of Rush's radio show as the typical liberal / democrat, I couldn't understand because they said they were republicans. They admitted to getting most of their news from the nightly main stream media which they did complain about as being biased. I asked them if they tried listening to the Rush Limbaugh radio show and they all said about the same thing. "I listened about 30 min. and the media is right about him"
I shook my head and said if you want to understand the man and his show you have to listen to it for a week not 30 min. To bad more people didn't try that. Now that he is gone there may never be another one like him and the void left will be difficult to fill. |

What does your rant have to do with anything? Are you trying to convince me Rush Limbaugh is anything less than saintly? That's never gonna happen. Your posse on Class Racer already slurped all over him. Who are you talking to? I don't get where you're coming from. Sorry. The fact that the Clintons reside in your head is hilarious. pS |

Never implied that Rush was a saint just like many involved in the political arena. On the other hand, the man gave and did more for others in need than those on your party that have enriched themselves in the name of those in need and in addition to the Clinton's, I added the Biden's and can add others. Nope, the Clinton's do not reside in my head, they are just one of many examples of people that have used others to enrich themselves; and by the way, she should reside in a federal penitentiary. However, your boy Obama made a good job of weaponizing the DOJ and intelligence agencies to protect his people. |

Re: Rush Limbaugh
You know, this thread started out as a message telling of the passage of another person from this life to the next. A little respect for that, and for the rest of the people on here who took part in this positive observation is a thing that should be the issue here, but one respondent is so small minded and so low as to continue to trash another person posthumously after his demise, and then try to ridicule those who have positive things to say about he who has departed. I just don't get it. Of all the low ways to behave at a time like this, here it is. Now, whose deplorable?

Re: Rush Limbaugh
You know, we had a piece of white trash in the white house almost 30 years ago, and he was an open example of a draft dodger. How would you know what the details of his Selective Service status are? As far as the comments about the lake of fire are, you express a great deal of spiritual ignorance regarding apocraphyl things pertaining to the final destination of the end times. Ever read Revelations 20 in its entirety? Doubt it. I would vouch for his eternity fairly safely based on his confession of faith on several occasions. He isn't dependent on your opinion for anything, least of all now. In fact, neither is anybody else.

Re: Rush Limbaugh
One of you made a humorous comment about a prius drop. Years ago, the dorkiest thing on the road, usually in everybody else's way was a volvo from the early-mid '80's. When you saw the people that drove them, it somehow makes sense. I heard of a guy who loved to go to the air show. During a good show with lots of aircraft fly bys and maneuvers that reflected massive G forces, an announcement kept being given over the PA-,"Attention spectators, a yellow 4 door volvo is parked in a restricted area. Please remove it before we have to". This was repeated several times about ten minutes between repeats of the same announcement, then a military transport chopper slowly passed in front of the grandstands hovering at about 20 feet. A cable coming out the hatch doors below had a yellow 4 door volvo hanging beneath it, whereby the PA announcer told the crowd that he was tired of repeating himself and has taken matters into his own hands. The helicopter began a slow vertical ascent until it and its dangling cargo had climbed about 4000 feet above the concrete surfaces of the air field, then the PA replayed the pilot's comments where the desired altitude for the drop had been achieved. The signal was given, then the cable was cut loose exposing the volvo to a 4000 foot freefall. It hit the ground and pancaked into a mass about two feet high. The hood bounced open, the engine flew out and flew about 20 feet in the air, landing on the roof. The crowd loved it. Probably the funniest thing at an air show I ever heard of.
