Enclosed Trailer

I going to be in the market for an enclosed trailer this spring. I've definitely got Pace and Classic on my list. Are there any other trailers builders out there that I should add to my favorites?

I've been satisfied with my Haulmark. But just like any purchase it comes down to the dealer who will stand behind the product he sells and give you the service you deserve.

We have used Vintage products for the last 4 years now. We have been more than happy with the trailers. We had a LQ trailer for 2 years and now have a 32 footer that has been absolutley great with no problems. We had a Pace prior to switching to Vintage. If we get a new trailer at the end of next year, we will go Vintage again and order thru Matt Zapp.

Jim, I'm very happy with my Classic. Bought it through Boyd Beyer, a fellow racer, and would deal with him again. One word of advice, don't scrimp on size. You would be surprised how quickly it fills up.Good luck.

whatever you buy get the longest trailer you can afford---They are never long enough!!!! Cut some corners on the xtras and do some of the work yourself but you never can stretch them to make it longer---My 2cents---Comp 387

I bought a Vintage from Fletcher this past season and it is great. Give him a call, he'll set you up with the perfect trailer for what you need.

Jim whatever you buy get the heaviest axles you can with 16" wheels and tires. My trailer is a Pace bigfoot 26' with 7000lb. axles. It's 12 years old and has been a really reliable trailer. With your car I would probably go with a 28', especially if you are going to haul a golf cart or 4 wheeler.

Call up the Aluminum Trailter company. They build a great trailer, have fantastic customer support and it is light so easier on the tow vehicle.

Back when we had our PACE, never had a problem, and what it nice, when you go to a National event, they will come over and check out the whole unit. Dont forget to check out E_BAY

W&M manufacturing in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Just west of Cincinnati

Mike will build any combination you want. They are not a dealer, but a manufacturer.

It was pretty neat to see your trailer in stages (if you like).

I have a 24' with aluminum floor and full cabinets. 5200 pound axles. I am very happy with it.

Mike can build mild to wild. I know there are some racers on this forum that have a trailer from Mike (and Carlos)

Jim,
I just bought a Motorsport, if you can stand the pain of the expense they are as nice as they get. They also hold their value over many years of use. My first trailer was a Haulmark, pulled great and held up very well. Call Roy Hill at Hill Equipment Co., he will give you the best deal on a Haulmark. 419 253-2991

Not sure if Dave Boertman is still a trailer dealer but we bought a Haulmark 5th wheel a few years back and used the hell out of it sold it and it still is out there running around---Good deal and good price from Dave---just a thought--Comp 387

Re: Enclosed Trailer

We had a Haulmark Thrifty Hauler for about 5 years. It was a great entry level trailer for cheap.
We stepped up to a Pace, Shadow GT w/ Daytona package, loaded, and couldn't be happier. Talk to Allen at Flying A Motorsports, he's easy to work with and can arrange everything. You can use my name.
Like the other guy said, get the big tires and axles if you are hauling any weight.
