Thanks for the updates this week Larry. Quick and important question, did they cut the grass? We will be there late Wednesday so I am sure all pavement will be gone by then.

The grass was mowed sometime but not recently!! Rigs are coming in slowly. I would say there are maybe 70 or so here now. Maybe not even that many! It is overcast now and about 80 degrees. Chance of rain off and on throughout the week but hopefully no rain out days!! No cars out of boxes yet so no pics! Later for them!

The gate attendant told me as of Monday morning they had 450 pre-entered cars.

Well it is a beautiful morning here at the track in Hebron, OH. And it is eerily quiet! It is 10:45 here and I have only heard 1 race car running all morning! Nothing much going on! People appear to be sleeping in while they can!

Lots of good parking still available!! According to the flyer, the gates are open tonight until 8.

Come on here and run Class!! The only real class show all year!!

Lots of people here!! And it is only Tuesday!! I heard that there are over 100 each of stock and super stock! I want to thank Billy Nees and his sweetie for making the banana nut bread and bringing it to us!! It is great!!

For some reason I can’t locate a flyer. What’s the plan for testing tomorrow? And what’s the story on the combo race.

From what I have heard, Combo race starts at 9. You sign up down by the track toward the little store. But have not heard any announcement . Nitro Joe is suppose to know if you see him. Test and tune is supposedly around 1. This is all totally unofficial!!

The Divisional is Thursday and Friday; the Sportsnationals is Friday and Saturday with class eliminations Saturday morning. It's the only race this season with class so it should be well attended.

Super Stock and Stock Class Eliminations Notice
Due to the restructuring of the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series for 2020, Stock and Super Stock Class Eliminations will not take place at the US Nationals. We will award the quickest car in each class (with more than 1 competitor) the Class Trophy. For those classes with single competitors, we will create the Combos and award the quickest competitor in each Combo the Class Trophy. Contingency Awards will be awarded as well.

Hey everyone, well I finally made it to my first NHRA race. Man what a lousy start to this season, anyway its good to be here and with Patsy starting the live from, if feels like things are back to normal.

This race kind of feels like Indy as far as class goes, and since there really is no class at Indy, to me this is the big go for all the class racers. I hope to be able to do starting line photos, but there is no NHRA media here so not sure I will be able to get the proper credentials. I also hope to get some in car camera video.

The photos below is from the first time shot of the Stock Super Stock combo coming back from there runs. What a great deal, you have three races in 5 days, what else could you ask for.

Ken, just ask for JJ, he is the operations manager for the facility. He should be able to assist you witht he proper media credentials you may want. He was able to take care of Doug Walker for the weekend for the Hemi Clash, I assume he should be able to help you as well. He isnt hard to find. He is the younger guy running around like a wild man taking care of everything. Ha!

Thanks for the great starting line shots. Ken, they were real nice to me when Michael Beard did a S/SS race there a few years back. They'll let you on the line. Should be a bare spot about the 60' mark on both sides of the track. Good luck.
