Best Truck route to Epping from Long Island?

I tow with a Suburban and usually try to favor routes with rest stops so I can gas up and grab a coffee.
Thanks in advance

From Long Island get onto I-95 north head towards I-84 thru CT to Massachusetts.
You can stop in Sturbridge MA, Fuel-up and get onto I-90 East (Massachusetts Turnpike toll-road) follow I-90 east, exit to Rt 495 North in Westboro MA.

Take Rt 495 North thru Haverhill MA (60 miles) to Rt.125 Plaistow NH exit.
Follow Rt 125 for 20 miles until you get to Rt.101 East.

Take Rt 101 East for one mile and exit onto North Rd. at the end of the ramp take a left,
go over the overpass, the entrance to New England Dragway is straight ahead.

See you There

There will be rest stops on I95, and then one (perhaps 2) on I90 East. Once on 495- there really isn’t much- so plan on stopping when you get on I90 in Sturbridge.

Greg
You say its quicker going up 125 to 101 then stay on 95 to 101

Timewise it's probably quicker to stay on 495 to 95N to 101W (toll) .but no traffic signals.

The nice thing about going up 125 to 101 is fuel and food stops, look for the Irving on 125, right side, has easy diesel islands behind building, Dunkin, and conv. store . There are others also. Every store you can think of on that route.

From 495, we get off exit 51 and take 125N, make a right on North rd take it straight to the track. Its close timewise, and saves 10 miles of travel.

Yes, and you wont have to pay a toll like you would if you stay on I-95 just to travel west on Rt 101 to the track!

You find Haffners "Kick-Azz" Fuel in Mass to top off & they feature a Car/Truck wash

Prime in Plaistow usually has the cheape$t Diesel Fuel prices on Rt 125

There are (2) Market Basket Grocery stores on Rt 125, and when you get to the jct of Rt 125 & Rt101, there's a Wal-Mart, Lowes, Applebees, Dunkin Donuts, and of course the NH State Liquor Store in both Market Basket Plaza's ;).....

Having lived in Manchester n.h. for over 30 years, I find it faster and no stop lights like 125 to get off 495 and take 93n, then 101 east to exit 8. top of exit take left then you are looking at the track. Exit 7 off 101 just before track there is a super walmart and many other food places. This avoids lot of stop and go on 125. It's fast and easy.

Are there places to get gas at exit 7?

yes , also there is a gas/ diesel place just off exit 2 a little before that. May be easier to get in and out of.
