NHRA Tech Cards
Will be headed to my first NHRA divisional race hope fully soon and have some questions about the tech cards. I have a PDF version of one but I was wondering if anyone could share an old one so I can see everything that needs to be filled out (what does and doesnt).

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
I’ve been doing the electronic tech card for some time and then printing it out to take with me Here in D2 they’ve been using it and normally stapling it to their traditional hard card stock card. Who knows what the process will be going forward. PM me your email and I’ll send you a copy of mine but please note since different classes have different requirements then yours will differ.

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
I have also been using the printed Tech Cards for a couple of years now.
I fill mine out and print a dozen or so and keep them in the trailer. I leave my age blank as it changes during the year of racing. The one thing to remember is fill in your name and sign the the one they give you at the gate and turn both in at tech. Tech always asks for that as they want to make sure you paid to get the card I think. It is much faster and easier to use the printed cards. One of NHRA/'s better ideas. Rick Cates Canyon, TX |
Re: NHRA Tech Cards
I may be missing something but where are the online tech cards found?

Once you log in. Select your category. At the bottom of your information page there is a box that says: Click Here To Print Your Tech Card That lets you fill in your information then print it with all your info on it. I usually need to size it to fit my paper (standard size page). Print it to the page fold it in half and you have a printed filled out Tech Card. I usually print enough to get me through most or all of the season and keep them in the trailer. I leave the track info blank and only need to fill out a few lines to have it complete. Sign and date and you are done. One of NHRA's better ideas at least for me. Hope this helps. Rick Cates Canyon, TX |
Re: NHRA Tech Cards
I filled out the PDF and printed 8 or 9 of them. I guess I could use most of them for scratch paper the way things are looking.

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
You don't have to go to the slow NHRA site. Punch NHRA Sportsman Tech Card PDF in your search bar. Scroll down and you will see (2019 NHRA Tech Card- NHRA Reg). Click on the link and there it is.

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
Just curious with the new online tech cards, since this will be my first time filling one out for S/G and S/ST. Do you have to check every single box on the tech card such as the ones that says, throttle, fire extinguisher, roll bars, roll cage, tires etc. ? These seem like obvious things a car would have but since im new to this I am confused. Dont wanna F it up.

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
Just check the boxes you used to address when you filled out your card at the track. Then you will enter your serial numbers and expiration dates.

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
I have never filled one out before. This will be my first time.

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
If you have a throttle then check it (Doesn’t everyone)
Same with bar or cage. Check One or the other Check all that applies if there is a question it won’t be accepted then you can double check and Try to send Again |
Re: NHRA Tech Cards
I typically only address items with SFI numbers/dates and safety equipment.

Re: NHRA Tech Cards
When I filled out the one for Tulsa. I filled out what I normally would. I punched in the Flexplate, Flexplate Shield etc. It made me go back to Flywheel stuff. Anything that didn't apply I just put in N/A.
