Re: Pray for my Dad

I'm sure he is in good hands. Seems like just about every stroke is different.
I had one in Norwalk between rounds May 18, 2014. Luckily there was a trauma 3, Hospital less than five minutes from the track. I was completely paralyzed on the right side and couldn't talk. I am telling you all of this to let you know there is still a lot of hope. I am back to racing, not driving, going to races and enjoying life. Be safe and I'll be praying for your Dad.

Definitely be praying for your dad Chuck. The one mine had in 2016 is ultimately what took him out last June. So I know how your feeling, hang it there.

"Hey there, I stumbled upon your post while I was looking for some support myself. I'm really sorry to hear about your dad's stroke. I hope he's doing better now and that the damage and recovery are not too severe. It's tough seeing our loved ones go through difficult times. While browsing online, I came across a webpage called firstchurchlove: exploring faith and hope. It might be a helpful resource for finding strength and comfort during challenging moments. Sometimes, leaning on faith and connecting with a supportive community can make a difference."

Hey guys, could you please use some common sense when opening threads that are over three years old. Ron passed away May 13, 2020…May he Rest In Peace…..

Unfortunately, I think this kind of post is a bot. The poster just joined, and has only 1 post.
That being said, I don't know anything about this bot stuff, if that's what it is, and I don't understand the purpose of any post like this.
The thread is over 3 years old.

Re: Pray for my Dad

I met your dad when I was young then did not have the opportunity to spend time with him for several years. He was helping my brother with a problem he had. I came to pick up something at the shop. He talked to me for a couple of hours. He treated me like I was important. I never forgot that he made a young guy who was not even a racer like he was important. Great guy wish him a speedy recovery.

Are we praying for Ron's soul here? All well and good.
He was a friend of mine too.One of the many unique characters that we meet through racing . RIP

That being said, it seems someone tried to turn this old thread in an info-mercial the other day.

Also it seems to me that some of you guys are trying to monitor this site on a little dinky phone screen, rather than a PC or laptop, and you're missing quite a few details ;-)

Hey, I tried! (It is spam, as you suggested. He logged in later that day to edit in info about an online church.)
