Next thing you know a car plows right into you and then your car runs into the car in front of you....Of course the odds of this happening are very minimal....I finally insured my race car one year ago today, the policy was so reasonable I couldn’t turn it down...Thanks Don Kennedy......MJ

Yep ,,,,that's one of the resons I purchased insurance for mine ,you never know ,,yeah we as racers do our own damage just towing anything can happen

M.J. I thought the exact same thing when I saw the pictures, I put off calling Don for a long time but glad I finally made the call a couple months ago. Don made it super easy and it's inexpensive compared to what can happen!!

Try this .. Your in the staging lanes 1st round putting on your gear and with a slant to the left in your lane, your door goes and swings right into a 63 max wedge car... Stupid things happen in tight quarters !

Or there is this... your at trails stopped after making the turn to go under the tower. You start strapping in and the car in front of you pulls forward. A couple seconds later you hear the modified car behind you start up and you wonder where he is going. Just after getting the belts latched he drives his nice new cobalt right into the back corner of your car. Apparently there is a large blind spot behind the hood scoop thats big enough to hide a camaro....
Great after thought but I now have insurance thru Don.

MJ, I too have insurance through Don. I could not pass up the deal. Towing accidents scare me to death. Thank you Don Kennedy. When you consider how much money you have invested in your car, and the amount to insure it, it makes good sense it insure to insure it.

Don't need to imagine....It happened to me @ INDY, Wednesday in staging lanes, except in my unfortunate case, the hitter wasn't a car or golf cart, instead an impatient wanna be driving school instructor in his Motorhome, yessir..right down the side of my stocker...name rhymes with Hoy Rill
I had no place to go as was blocked in line....lucky ? this mentally impotent individual hit my car and not the Hemi Cuda in front of me...
Expect the unexpected.....
Still wave @ him with my middle finger every time I have the pleasure....

Just curious, would insurance cover this? Years ago I was in the burnout box and the car ahead of me left the line, only in reverse. Took out the whole passenger side of my car.

my insurance covers damages except on the race track it self,i am covered in the staging lanes ,towing,theft ,
the trailer ,car,tools in the trailer, are covered

I would say Don Kennedy is worth contacting. He insured hundreds of sportsman racers and races superstock himself.

Yeah I have mine through Don but I alot more coverage than Gmonde for alot less money that's why I was curious. I know the rates can be alot different also depending on what state you're in also. I have 30k on the car and I believe it's 20k on contents of the trailer for $430 per year.

My insurance is with Hagerty handled by Don Kennedy. Like COOTER I have my car valued at thirty grand and the premium is a little over 300 bucks a year. However, I do live in the hillbilly state of Ken tuck eee.
