Tech West still in business?
 

Been trying to reach them for a week and half now with no luck. Need to get my MSD 7AL2 repaired.

Might want to do a search on this website......Lots of issues with Pat Collins. Let's just say I paid for a MSD 7al box and his amplifier box and got screwed on both items not working. Sorry be the bearer of bad news but didn't want you to get shafted.

Why would anybody send their MSD box to anybody but MSD? Those are great people!

I sent a distributor to MSD with a rusted reluctor. MSD locked out small Chev. I was sent back a rebuilt dist, and the only part that was not replaced was the aluminum body. No charge. Three weeks turn around, n/c shipping . It does NOT get any better than that! Thank you MSD.

I am not sure what his issues are at this time. I heard he had some health/family issues. But to say he couldn't fix and MSD box better than MSD is misinformed. Using that logic would be like saying Bob Glidden couldnt improve a stock Ford motor,

Pat Collins does excellent work, I have had excellent service performed by him on two occasions....However, not sure I would send anything back to him now ...have heard quite a few horror stories....
