Congratulations Paul! It’s been a hell of a ride. Thanks for making time for me when I was a young racer starting out. I’ll never forget the night I got to help you and Jim Marshall in the tear down barn at the Dutch after you set the record and you put my name in the record listing after. Good times. Hope to see you at the races this year spectating...

So if you started in 61, and I made my first run in 72 , that means I need to race 11 more years to catch up. Man,,, you have some big shoes to fill.

Happy Retirement Paul. Glad to have known you, raced with you, and bench raced with you. Thanks again for the MoPar book you gave me a long time ago. Stay healthy and still go to the races.

I wish I could go back in time, spend a few days at The RANCH....talk racing with Val Hedworth...run at Irwindale, Ontario Motor Speedway,....You have done it all Pappy, I’ll miss you at the track, and I will miss those white dogs....
